Unlike most peole, I have self discipline, I only play WOW last night until 2:30am.
I went to play some more NBA 2K21 last night I enjoy the My Player mode in the series and come to find out they shut the servers down couple months ago so now I can’t do anything on the game now. This is crazy you should still be able to do something like this offline playing a solo player. I don’t play a ton of sports games like I did back in the 360 days. I just like playing here and there mainly the My Player modes. Sucks now knowing if I wanna stick to a sports game I only got a couple of years then your money and time you invested is gone.
Yup, that's why digital only storefronts with online only games scares me since they can just shut the servers down on a whim. You can still play my NBA mode as that's single player and I have been playing that with my Raps. You can't download any user rosters though anymore if you haven't already. I downloaded before so I still have it and just use autogenerate rookies for next year's class.
DriedMangoes I already uninstalled. I understand wanting to push your player base to the next years game, but it should still be playable offline as a single play experience other than online play.
I have EA Pass and like getting each sports game towards the end of their season. I love basketball and found a game (2K21) that I loved to come back to. Guess I’ll just get NBA 2K23 when it’s on sale during or after the Playoffs for around $20. I’ll just also stick to Road To The Show every year with The Show on GamePass and whatever is on EA Play. The days of me paying full price for a sports game is over lol.
I started playing PGA Tour 19 recently I think it was a GwG game in recent years. Game is really good, has me interested in the new PGA Tour 2K23 when I can get it really cheap on sale sometime this year.

I am upgrading my PGA Tour because Tiger is back in the game.

Not sure on that one. Speaking of that the last Tiger game I bought was the The Masters edition enjoyed that one.

I never expect this to be a hard game, let alone the hardest game I ever played. I am barely able to kill some random small animals. 2 of them, auto death. Bosses. Barely took 1/10 of their health before RIP. WTF. No weapon upgrade, level 16 & still using level 9 stuff, & did all contents. Hit hard mode at about level 13, & rock wall now.
I had to swallow my pride & seek help at r/wow noob. If I cannot get any solution, I am quitting,

Turned out certain bosses are not easily soloable, & I am playing one of the hardest class (to level). I followed some advice & doing better. But I am dead tired. Played to about 3am last night. lol.
Will be lots of GT7 for me this weekend...Will sprinkle in some Horizon Forbidden West too.
I’ve been playing musical chairs lately not sticking with a game for too long. Then I came across a game on sale for $20 I’ve been putting off playing for years. I’m finally diving into Red Dead Redemption 2 and oh boy am I glad I did. Even for a game without the new next gen upgrade this game looks amazing. Gotta give Rockstar credit they make games that make you feel like you’re in a living breathing world. Trying to stick with the missions for now so far instead of getting sidetracked for hours exploring and hunting lol.
(PS5) - Finishing up Hogwarts legacy, just a couple side things to wrap up and that's it. Started up Forbidden West and wow what a beautiful looking game, we'll see how long I stick around this one.
(SX) - Bit of Wo Long mixed in with 2042 and Fortnite, which has a cool new update which changes half the map to a cyberpunk/samurai themed area.

Wo Long got me feeling confident so I booted Nioh 2 back up last night. Nah f*** that game.
I downloaded and started replaying RD2 last night because of this post! I never got very far last gen, I'm already almost caught up to where I was. The game definitely runs and looks great on XSX, particularly with the HDR. If only it ran at 60fps!
Finished up FarCry6, Ubisoft open world games are my comfort food and I'm itching for a new AC or FarCry to release.
I got past the security bots for parry. Then it took me to the parry boss and I died. It starts you all the way over back to where the doors open.
My ego wouldn’t let Nioh 2 defeat me so I jumped back on last night and played until I beat the first mission and boss. This is a game that truly requires you to master its systems which I can appreciate. I think I’ll come back to it after Wo Long and Elden Ring.

I picked up Ready or Not on PC (SWAT/police game). Crazy intense.
I used to be a big fan of the horror genre. Then I played a game called fatal frame. That game f***ed me up so I stopped playing horror games. I decided to get back into those games when Dead Space came out. Finished that game and Alien: Isolation. And then finished the later Resident Evils. Now I'm playing The Evil Within and will follow that up with The Evil Within 2 by the weekend.
