What movies have you seen recently?

Watched a couple classics over the weekend

Titanic: Honestly, great movie. Haven't seen it in so long and it holds up really well. Rose is such a bitch though, in the past and present. How you gonna not let Jack on the floating door, and also just throw away a 500 million dollar diamond. Bitch move for a bitch ass woman.

Sorry for the spoilers, but you've had like 25 years to watch this shipwreck.

Lord Of The Rings The Fellowship Of The Ring: s*** STILL SLAPS HARD

Trying to watch some of the holiday Blus this last week.

Krampus - The Naughty Cut - 4KUHD - Brand new 4KUHD from Scream Factory. Excellent Dolby Vision and Atmos presentation. The new "naughty cut" was a little under whelming, most people may not even pickup on the differences as most of the added scenes are so short and mostly inconseuential. Has a large number of cool new interviews with key cast and crew members in the special features, which I enjoyed a great deal. I've always enjoyed this movie, and this is far and away the best it's ever looked and sounded.

Both Krampus and Trick r' Treat have been on the To Watch list for a long time and I just haven't gotten around to see them. I keep hearing good things about them.

The director, Mike Dougherty, is fantastic at nailing holiday atmosphere. Trick R Treat has become an October must watch for me over teh last decade or so, alongside things like Halloween. You definitely should check them both out. Where I'd say Trick R Treat has become a Halloween classic, Krampus is more of just a fun seasonal watch.

Watched Red Notice on Netflix. Thoroughly enjoy it. I heard very harsh critic about the film lacking substance & capitalizing on star power (Dywne Johnson, Gal Godot, Ryan Reynold) playing the roles that they usually play (tough guy, strong woman, funny guy), & using sequences already in other films, but not as good. He is right.

However, sometimes, I feel people missing the point. NOT all movies need to have depth, grand messaging, or some mind-blown plot. Sometimes we just want to have a movie to enjoy & have a good time, & red Notice does exactly that!

Yup. I really enjoyed it for what it was. We were promised a fun adventure style movie with little to no depth and got a fun adventure style movie with little to no depth.

It's like a modern day Mummy

Out Cold - Great

I was in tears when I saw it in the theater. It was hysterical. Only regret is that it was obvious they cut a lot to get a PG-13 rating. Still hysterical.

Trailer will spoil a bunch of jokes so watch it at your own risk.

One of my favorites! Movie was so good. I wonder if there's an R rated cut out there?

I do not remember this movie. Guess I missed it.

I honestly believe that Netflix content gets reviewed poorly because it's....in the interest of reviewers to downplay their content.

I mean every single post on here by us guys enjoyed Red Notice, and got more than we expected out of it.

So yeah, pretty annoying not being able to rely on reviews. Who knows what we're passing on watching because of it.

Rotten Tomatoes used to be pretty good for me but that was year ago, then again Netflix used to let us rate their content and they took that away.

What can you do?

Licorice Pizza - Great

Some will find it boring. It’s a typical PTA vehicle.
That was a record store chain here in So Cal in the 60's through the mid 80's, we had one in the city I grew up in :) When my brother and I were kids we used to get mad when our sisters took us there because they didn't sell red vines licorice or pizza lol.

I watched Being the Ricardo's on Amazon Prime, it was alright. I don't know who thought they should put those prosthetics on Nicole Kidman but her face looks practically frozen in it which sucks because Lucy had a very expressive face.

They didn't, that's her real face now lol
I remember watching Aquaman in complete awe of her new face. Idk if it's botox overload or something done with a knife but she do look pretty horrendous now.

Same with Renée Zellweger, Madonna. They refuse to grow old gracefully. Madonna still think she is sexy at 60 wearing latex.
