What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Was watching Dexter. I finished the first four seasons, which were all pretty solid, but season five has been so bad/boring, that I gave up.

I will say this, Dexter himself is a good character and Rita became the biggest MILF of all-time.

Just finished the 2 seasons of Lilyhammer on Netflix. The show is awesome I can't wait till the third season comes out!

I've been watching a good amount of Esquire as of late. Good channel so far. American Ninja Warrior, Bars Across America, Knife Fight, Miami Vice, A-Team, etc. Turns out this is a very cool channel.

I've been watching the remastered Star Trek (original series) which still stands up well. The concepts are mostly still relevant, it's mainly just the technology parts that show its age.
I also started HBO's Rome in HD. Ray Stevenson looks so young.

Star Trek was a head of its time with the social issues it dealt with. Rome is awesome but ended to fast IMO!

Going with Penny Dreadful.

How are you finding Penny Dreadful ?

With Orphan Black season 2 finished I am looking to find another show to watch along side the remaining 2 seasons of fringe. My choices are Penny Dreadful, Halt and Catch Fire, Hemlock Grove, and Fargo.

Binged watched: Attack on Titan, Hannibal, House of Cards, and Sherlock. Trying to get through Arrow, but it's painful.

I actually find Hannibal quite tough to binge watch. I know it's supposed to be all dark and moody, but it's relentless. You barely even get to see a sunny sky, nor a natural smile, unless it's Hannibal smirking at his own double entendre.

Fargo, no question. I got bored with Dreadful one episode in.

What do you mean? I saw season 1 years ago in lo-def, and never got around to season 2.
Do you mean the ending was too abrupt? Or 2 seasons weren't enough?
I might be a weirdo, but I'm pretty much OK with just one season if a show is good and that's all the creators want to do.

Am surprised by that. Oh, well.

Took your advice and watched the first episode of Fargo. I enjoyed it. Made me lol in places and has enough intrigue to compel me to watch another :)

Yeah I just meant I enjoyed it so much I wish there had been more seasons.

Lol, no. Keep watching.

Stop laughing at me :( He really does remind of the Bad Santa character. Just the manner in which he interacts and communicates with those around him. Granted, it is of different temperaments and different vocabulary's, but still reminded me of him.

Ray Donovan second season starts tonight as well.

I could never get in to season one. Have it on a list to re-watch at some point.

I have The Last Ship, Tyrant, Extant, and The Strain recorded have not started any of them yet. Going to get to some of it this week.

Me and the wife are doing nothing but watching supernatural on netflix at night. Up to season 4 show is still great. We did watch some the devil is a part timer anime on Funimation channel. I do let the WWE network run on my TV while I'm on the laptop or doing other stuff as background noise.

watched all of the mini-series The 90's: The Last Great Decade last night. Really entertaining had not thought about some stuff that happened in years. Also the movies and music of that era. Music is still some of my favorite.

90's music, yeah. I was heavily in to the dance music back then and they are still awesome today. Today's dance music just sucks, imo.

Fargo - Finally finished it and I enjoyed it. Got some good acting, great casting, good writing.
