Anybody else going all digital next generation? I have around 125 physical disks for my 360 and 42 for my PS3. Most of them bought from Gamestop. I'm going all digital next gen and I'm hoping some form of family plan comes back. I'm also going to do the same with my PS4 when i get one. I don't ever want to change a disk again. I'm thinking there will be others like me and gamestop will take a hit.

I think I'll only get physical disks with collector's items. Everything else will be digital.

Don't plan too.

but if they have pre-loads for evergame and all games unlock at midnight. then I may get more digital games than planned.

Not all-the-way digital. Exclude XBLA, I prefer to buy discs, that way whenever I'm done with it, I just trade in and use the money to buy newer games. Save money (for me).

Unless physical variant of the game is not available, DD variant is cheaper, or some form of trade/sell is available, I am going mainly Physical. More to do with overall cost of gaming, & not to mention games cost a lot more where I am from.

Of course, when DD become overall cheaper than buying physical media, then I certainly welcome DD.

I'm still undecided. I'd rather not have a pile of game disks lying around. However, I live right near a shopping center with a Best Buy, Gamestop, Target, etc. I'm worried about download speeds, even with a decent connection. I can get to a store and back in under 20 minutes. There's no way I'm downloading a game in that time, even if I just need part of it to start playing.

I want to go digital, but I don't want to be sitting there staring at a download that will take hours when I can run to the store and back in less time.

I really need to see how the system works.

I rarely trade mine in so I can understand why you would stay with physical. The last time I went to trade in a game I told the gamestop guy I would burn my s*** before I gave him my game for 2 bucks.

I am hoping they get to a point where we can pre download before launch.but at least you don't have to wait for the whole thing to download which should lesson the time by alot.

At least at the beginning of the generation I don't see myself doing digital all that much. I think I'll just be stuck in my ways and see no reason to change right away.

With that said, if the Xbox One really pushes digital versions a lot and gives us a real incentive to choose digital over physical, a few years from now maybe I will have changed my mind.

 THE BOTS ARE BACK!!!!

Going all digital! I already have most of my games on Steam so this isn't anything new. Once the hard drive fills up and Microsoft adds the external storage option I'll be adding a USB 3.0 external drive. Hopefully a 3 terabyte will be cheaper by then and I'll never have to worry about the amount of storage for awhile.

I need an incentive to go digital. As it is I use Prime and get my games delivered right to my door tax free and then trade it in when I'm done for at least some value.

Digital. A poll might have worked here.

I am going 100% digital on both of my consoles for the new gen. I have already moved to mostly digital on my 360. Games on Demand is what I have been buying now, with the exception of GTA5 lately.

I won't buy a single physical disk, unless for some strange reason, the game is not released digitally.

Sticking mostly with physical. I like to trade games when I'm done. I buy two or three a month usually and only hold onto the ones with good coop or multi player

If I went all digital I would spend most my time waiting for offers as the pricing still needs work.

All games still need to be installed but you can start playing them while it happens.

I don't know yet. Digital GTAV seems to have some hiccups so that has me thinking. I might just ride out the physical part until the digital games are on par with their physical counterparts, meaning ZERO hiccups.

To be honest I was really hoping on going full digital right from the start but I'll just wait just to be on the safe side.

they will probably charge more for digital versions, so not a chance of me going all in on digital.

The price of DD is a concern for me with the prices I've seen on GOD. Those games are way overpriced compared to retail.

Since I'm a relatively new PS3 owner, does Sony do the same thing with their pricing?

I'm going all digital... I don't like having to store so many discs..plus I have a lot of kids now, so the less possibility of a scratched or broken or missing disc the better.
