Thanks for sharing. We appreciate your feedback!grow up. you sound like a 12 year old that doesn't like the game the other kids want to play "screw you guys, I'm going home".
To call yourself a gamer does a grave disservice to the word.

You obviously are someone with an agenda that should sell your soul to the indie and f2p future of gaming. Don't you know how much money they make for steam yet? Get on board and stop having your own opinion.I really wish so many games weren't delayed. The year's lineup and pacing of titles is just so little and so slow right now. And Witcher 3 is still nowhere in sight.
If that's the case, everyone and their dog have an agenda.
I've been enjoying indie games on PC for awhile now, just glad the consoles are finally catching up to the future of gaming.
MS sort of went after the wrong Indie games it seemed for 360. Sony went after the off the wall stuff (non shooter, and more interesting) for me.
yes, but not all the ones I liked best. I really like games like Heavy Rain, flower. It was hard to get these things on XBLA. They promoted the things I like a little least such as turned based rpgs, rts. I couldn't get into Shadow Complex I beleive the name was? You didn't listen to what I said clearly.. put IMO in front of everyone's post sir.The 360 had a ton of great indie games and promoted them very well.
The future of gaming is more than likely mobile.
Microsoft did have some fantastic indies early on with the 360, albeit not very many. Braid still might possibly be my favorite game of all time.I have no problem with your opinion of which indie games are more interesting or whatever. You said Microsoft picked the wrong indie games. I disagree. That's all. Not defending.
Shadow Complex was highly regarded. Games like Braid, Trials and Limbo made their name on Xbox.
I appreciate Sony eye for the unique as much as the next gamer. But sometimes those games were hit and miss. Like Unfinished Swan.
Yeah,MS is teh DOOOMEDZ! Chips of sunshine like these is why I almost don't bother with the site anymore.
Sony is catching up you mean. Microsoft saw the future of the indie game scene last generation.I've been enjoying indie games on PC for awhile now, just glad theconsolesare finally catching up to the future of gaming.

They did initially, but then pretty much abandoned it. They didn't get back on board until they saw Sony getting all the buzz from their indie support.Sony is catching up you mean. Microsoft saw the future of the indie game scene last generation.
ID@Xbox wasn't an afterthought because of Sony. They didn't get back on board until they saw Sony getting all the buzz from their indie support.

You sure ? I mean it was there day one and MS was trying to get them all to be exclusive, but nah, you must be wrong, it was because of Sony. It isn't like MS's choice to force exclusivity got the indie crowd riled up and forced MS to change its ridiculous policy, it was obviously all Sony......... all hail Sony.

Indies only matter of cause of Sony and its now fine to charge for MP.
And the PC platform is playing catchup to the mobile platform.and by "saw the future" you mean they're playing catch up to the PC platform.
This picture is trotted out a lot to show the 360's lack of exclusives

It's like downloadable games didn't matter then.
Now the same Sony fans post this picture
Which totally includes downloadable only games.
Seems bit strange to post both pictures and not see the hypocrisy.
They didn't even remotely abandon it. The Xbox 360 excelled at it, untouched by any console to date. The Xbox 360 had a larger focus on indie games closer to the end of the generation. The Xbox 360 has 3855 indie games. The PS3 has 1732 games, total. They did initially, but then pretty much abandoned it. They didn't get back on board until they saw Sony getting all the buzz from their indie support.
These were decisions that were made years ago, when we were first architecting our operating system, so that all of this would because potentially unlocked in the future.
It was always part of our plan. If you think about the sequence of announcements that we made from the introduction of Xbox One, the games announcements at E3 and the ID announcements at Gamescom - that was all part of our story.
The proof is in the pudding here today. We went from announcing the ID@Xbox program in August of last year, we got thousands of applications from developers large and small, all around the world. Over 250 developers now have dev kits and are working to build games on Xbox One, and we have the first 25 games here at our showcase at GDC.
Just to put that 250 number into context, that is more developers on Xbox One in 120 days than we had developers on Xbox 360 in eight years.
They might have had a plan for the Xbox One before E3, but ever since they have been scrambling to figure out just what to do with it. Everything they have done since E3 has been redefining and restructuring, a direct result of unprecedented public negativity as well as Sony's favorable position. They F'ed up on the whole concept of the One and they are doing everything they can to reinvent their vision into something consumers actually want. This is a good thing, but there is no denying it. I am actually impressed by how much they have managed to salvage what could have been a disastrous launch.<PR parroting>
