Might give R6:S a try.

I tried Overwatch the last time it had a FPW and hated it.

Siege is really good. Just be ready for a huge learning curve. Well worth it though. One of the few games that hasn't been dumbed down for the masses.

Just not sure how all the dlc works over the years.

I had to jninstall it, so wont be able to try it out.

Do you have an Xbox One X? I'm a little confused here.

If you don't have an Xbox One X, the 4k assets will not download unless you specificy them to.

I just bougght Gears 4 and the 4k assets are mandatory, download size is 100GB.

On Xbox One S?

Check and make sure the 4k assets option is off in 'Settings - System - Backup & transfer - download 4k game content'.

The game should be 103GB with 4k assets installed and to verify that 4k assets are installed, go to the game in My Games & Apps, press the Window Button (Back/Select) and it should tell you if it is. Pretty sure it was 94GB before I forced the 4k update.

There are some inintended glitches with 4K assets. I’ve had the issue the other way around. Had to uninstall and reinstall a bunch of games to get the assets. Menace is probably just experiencing the glitch. Think Microsoft admitted to it and is trying to fix it.

No, just OG X1.

Game is 100GB in size.

The window button does nothing.

Double weird.

It should take you to the Manage Game screen. You can try accessing it by pressing Menu and selecting it.

In all honesty it's probably a bug that made you download it, which wouldn't be at all shocking considering the OS has been buggy horses*** for the past two months.

Hell yeah. I was hoping for a remastered of 2 and 3 but this will do.

Another thing you guys better support this title if you guys want more Japanese games on your console. Stop being close-minded and buy this game. Best strategy jrpg for me last gen.

The first game I popped into the new system is Gears 4. I read so much about how good it looks that I'm really looking forward to playing it and this time hopefully finishing it. But a prompt came up saying "this game needs a 60gb update". Yeah I know, I won't be playing tonight.

My question is will the console continue to download the update if I eject the disc and turn the console off? I've been on my PS4 a helluva lot more than I've been on my Xbox this generation so I'm not as familiar with this system especially after so many updates.

I've only had about an hour messing around with the new system but so far I like how responsive the dashboard is. It all seems to run smoothly, I did notice a few minor hiches while at the store but no freeze ups or latency issues which is nice. The last time I can remember being on my Xbox was a few months ago and I remember having issues navigating menus.

ya it'll keep updating quietly in the background. Just make sure your settings are on auto-download.

MS are f***ing idiots.

Why make everybody download the 4K assets when buying a game digitally? Idiots.

Because they're telling you to buy the X. Why not get it over with and pull the trigger? Be a good Xbox fan and shell out another $500 for the console that they should have released at launch.

Please, nobody get worked up. I'm aware that this beast would have cost us a cool $1 grand if it released 4 years ago but really. Was this not their plan all along? This mid gen thing wasn't just thought up overnight.

I think Gears 4 varies. The store says 92.6 GB. My prior install is the same (92GB with all DLC) Download says 102GB. They released a patch recently that tidies the files and reduces the size. So its possible that the 10GB patch self deletes once it's recompiled.

** Edit

Yes. 3.9GB downloaded and the size has changed from 102GB to 92.38 GB. It evidently installs the tidy patch first
