Crazy value in both the new consoles and he didn’t even make it as powerful. Can’t wait to see what devs can do with all this power 2-3 years down the road.

I hope I never tire of gaming. I was starting to feel a bit glum over gaming in general as I get older. Too many negative people and trolls on the internet worldwide in nearly every social aspect is draining.
The next gen has my interest sparked as do the new studios added.
3rd parties will carry the launch. Hopefully they get something big out for the launch though. They should know by their event at the end of June or early July what games will make launch, so I'm expecting them to announce a launch lineup then.
I don't want anything delayed. But safety first, then quality.
Making games I already own plus what’s on GamePass look and run better will hold me over if some launch games are pushed back. Will still get console at launch.
One would think games would be less delayed than hardware which requires people being on site and on top of each others. Game creators can work remotely and have everything stored in the cloud.
Its nice that they keep reiterating that but I will believe it when its on store shelves. Everything is on schedule until its not.
Yea but they used VRS Tier 1 in Gears Tactics and the performance variant he used in that benchmark looks like complete ass.

that’s the only version I’d support, it’s the only one that makes sense...it’ll probably be anywhere from 30-50 dollars cheaper and maybe like 2/3rds to 3/5ths the size of the x
I doubt it will be any more than $299. Maybe $249? XSX most likely $499, PS5 most likely $399. $249-$299 Makes the most sense, IF those prices are correct.
I think that was the rumor since the beginning. It makes sense because they will cut unnecessary parts on the cheaper console, and not just the cost but the console size will continue to shrink considerably every few years, as well.
Also, SSD unlike HDD, follows Moore's Law.. HDD is only like .5 of Moore's Law. It becomes more expensive to make smaller storage sizes at a certain point, so manufacturers just go to the next size up. There's always a similar introduction price and curve downward until extinction, and then it's time to move on, repeat.
IMO, this thing is replacing the Xbox One X, which is now $299. It could be the same price, but will it have any advantages over X1X? If not, it could possibly be a low as $249. If it does have some kind of advantage, it will be $299. Will it play X1X spec games plus Series X games at lower res? That would be an advantage, and I think most are assuming that. Personally, I kind if doubt it'll do both, and I think it will probably just do the same spec games as X1X; and the current X1S spec will go the way of the dodo. I think that this console is just the new old thing... but I wouldn't mind being wrong.
