I've gotten my last couple from Amazon, but they are far from perfect. I've had better luck than some though. I did preorder an Elite 2 controller right during the reveal at E3 and somehow Amazon put me on the bottom of the list. I had to cancel the order, only to have it ship minutes later. I've ordered my last 3 consoles from there and been ok. One didn't get delivered until almost 8pm.
I'll probably stick with them, as I don't trust retail stores. Who knows if Best Buy will still be around.

That's where I ended up getting my Elite 2 controller from. Turns out there's an MS store in the mall like 5 minutes from my house. Definitely not a bad option if you have one nearby (and check because maybe one popped up nearby). I keep forgetting about them!

I ordered online and had mine delivered for the day one and the Scorpio day one. I did this because my launch 360 preorder got cancelled by GameStop because they didn't get as many as they expected. I know I buy from the source, that won't happen.
I may try the in store pickup for the xsex, though, because it's a 45 minute drive but the Scorpio arrived at like 7:30 pm launch day and I had s*** that needed playing.
It is much better since the updates, but you will want to play the realistic mode. There are still some hold over issues, but if you liked wildcards, you should pick it up if you find a good sale

I understand where you're coming from but why should a business make a terrible business decision to please a couple fans that likely don't even buy Madden?
Its in EA's best interest to keep that NFL license for themselves.
Another thing, if they did let go of the NFL exclusivity deal that would leave the door open for someone else to make the exclusivity deal screwing EA. Making that an even worse decision. The original rumor was that the NFL wanted to make an exclusivity deal.
EA wins but the fans of the NFL lose. Deals like these should be benefit everyone involved. That includes fans. I cant comment on hypotheticals. Thats not where things are. Thats why the Madden franchise is so stagnant now. I havent bought a Madden game in years. Same old s***, time and again. If there's one game we know that is definitely the same old s*** with different coat of paint for next gen, I dont think anyone can disagree that its the Madden franchise. They can stay "In the Game" if they want. Just let other's play too.
Gets rid if the stupid loot level and rarity. I makea it so any AUG is the same and every M4 is the same. There are also many options you can change that get rid if the HUD, control injury rates and many more things that you can use to make it feel more like a Ghost Recon game
