Ok. It isn't the same tech. Happy now?More RAM can be used for more than just higher Res textures
Not same tech, or it would offer the same power

Cool story. Thanks for sharing.Well yeah... Better Tech is what makes something more powerful
4TF's vs 12.1TF's is vastly different tech. Not the same... RAM, and GPU CUs is Tech
The XSS is being pushed more early on than the XSX is
Not if its one game across the system. Your not going to see a SXS development over the xss.More RAM can be used for more than just higher Res textures

True4TF's and 8.3TF's vs 12.1TF's is vastly different tech.
The new Tesla model s will be the second, at 10+ tflops...unless you consider it a portable device than it’s the most powerful ever.12.155 TF is the best console tech
Not that I'm aware, I had mine since the One S when they gave them away free if you upgraded from the vanilla console. Still bummed out that they don't work with the new consoles.
I couldn't remember if I heard that they dropped compatibility or not. It doesn't seem like there's a technical reason for this, so this is very annoying!I've got one and yeah its annoying it doesn't work on the new console
And HD-DVD support? And the Xbox Media Center Extender?I couldn't remember if I heard that they dropped compatibility or not. It doesn't seem like there's a technical reason for this, so this is very annoying!
I know they've been trying to separate themselves from Kinect, but it's like OK, we get it! This is NOT the current Xbox mantra... It just kinda goes against their new backwards compatibility to infinity, your games won't expire look of late. They should seriously think of packaging a "Retro Kinect" camera at this point. One that is like $50-$75, USB, and works for both previous gens. Pure "kitsch"... I know that Microsoft doesn't generally do kitsch, (and they'd probably get sh!t on by the gaming media, which doesn't ever like anything) and that's why they'd be better off licensing it out to a 3rd party partner.
I still got my 40ish HD DVDs. Wish I could watch them. And HD-DVD support? And the Xbox Media Center Extender?
Keep us updated. Been hearing awesome things about it.Got my S yesterday. How snazzy and quick is this thing? I love it!
What's the first game you gonna play on it?Got my S yesterday. How snazzy and quick is this thing? I love it!
It is a great little machine.Got my S yesterday. How snazzy and quick is this thing? I love it!
Been playing the hell outta some Medium, Gears 5 and Skyrim so far. I cant believe how fast this thing loads. Its crazy to witness, tbh. HDR looks insane on this thing, too. I have a 4K tv but from the distance I sit from the screen, I cant tell anyway. The Series S is perfect for me. Im alll digital and I care more about frames than res. Its right up my alley. What's the first game you gonna play on it?
Looks awesome.
The main reason why I want to get an XSX is the fact that I have about 600+ XBOX, and 360 games
Microsoft has greatly improved on B/C with XSX over the pathetic Sony B/C offerings in PS5. I went digital with most of my PS4 games anyways... I need that XSX to play my disc based Xbox games, and nice to know that improvements are added to some of them
