I really wish consoles supported mods for games. In this case I wish it was supported for Mechwarrior 5 on Xbox. Ive been playing the hell out of this game for almost a month now and its a lot of fun. When I looked online for build ideas for certain Mechs I've found a lot of information from the PC community. And then I recently discovered through youtube that the game also has a vast array of mods but only for PC players. It sucks that those awesome mods are not available to console players or at least not available on Xbox.

Cross-play is becoming more common so perhaps Mod support will come one day.

Skyrim and Fallout are the only ones I'm aware of.

I wish there was a system in place for all games that have mods could get them consoles.

I know Mechwarrior 5 is not a popular game on Xbox but since Xbox does release a lot of PC games it would be cool if us console only gamers could also download mods, some of which are awesome and worthy of their inclusion into a game.

Mechwarrior 5 on PC has loads of awesome graphical mods which make a huge difference, there's better audio mods too that increase the sense of immersion. I'd kill for the audio mods since I like gaming with the Xbox Wireless headset. I would pay a fair price for those mods on console but its not even an option. :sad:

Yeah it's a little odd mods for console games is still pretty much non existent
 
If I remember right if you used mods on Skyrim or Fallout it disabled achievements. Fallout 4 had some good mods on console that made it have a better conversation system and graphics and lighting.

I have never used mods but isn’t the hesitation from Sony and MS to be more accepting of mods a risk of hacking?
