I like the S, but for my purposes the usefulness of the disc drive outweighs the performance. I have the X and a PS5 for my gaming - the One X and One S are for the kids to watch movies on and slowly destroy.
 
I'd consider an S to compliment the XSX from another room, but still have the One because I can remote to it from PC. Could just bring the S in office, but having 3 is overboard.

I just want to be able to remote to my XSX, because not all titles are Play Anywhere.
