I really hope they get rid of the needless button mashing in the next spiderman that s*** should be a thing of the past.
 
Spiderman has been around since what? ps2? The newest ones really did extrapolate on the prior done games more than I realized when I looked back on them.
Open world and web swinging are kind of what you need for a proper spider-man game lol, the combat etc was a lot deeper in the new ones and the story telling was MUCH better.

Yes, but my point is that there was a stong foundation they built off of conceptually and even mechanically. Other IPs don't has as much of a base starting point.

FPS basically all have similar foundations etc.
 
Snap will probably never return.

It was pretty cool to snap a movie/TV app and play a game at the same time, but you had to play a somewhat diminished version of the game with the screen compromised in terms of size and, at times, responsiveness. If you really want to watch a movie or show at the same time you can basically just use your phone as a second screen and get a better situation.

Never understood watching a movie while playing a game. Pick 1.

Was neat for pulling up youtube if stuck on a section but can't remember the last time I used it.

My wife would watch TV in the snap while I gamed.
