Pretty sure most games nowadays are GPU heavy already. Looking on PC it tends to big RTS game and high physics driven games that still rely heavily on CPU...but the CPU is still super important and required to do massive amounts of work.Just a few questions do you think that pretty much all games will be more heavily gpu dependant from here on in? If so the cpu bottleneck may be a non issue? Also with dx12 baked into x1x helping the cpu out and this cpu being a heavily modified/beefed up version do you think it will do just fine? Keeping cost vs performance trade offs in mind...
As for DX12, eh. On PC the platform it should have most impact on, it isn't really proving itself. As for Xbox I doubt it made any real difference since it had a number of its benefits at launch.
It will be fine. We are already seeing the big visual jumps that will improve overtime. The big thing is X1X isn't a new gen, So games are still made for the original s*** CPU anyway.
