Xbox Live subs..

I can get 10% off from work which is good as I just got an email reminder that it runs out next month.

If that is 10% off retail price that is horrible,no one should be paying over 40-45 for Gold ever. I have been a Gold member since the beta and would never pay retail for Gold or points or stuff from the marketplace. On sites like cag and others you can routinely get cheap Gold and Xbox store credit. I just bought a bunch of credit at close to half price on cag

Even if he is out of codes you can find one there. Gametz.com is also a really good site and is free. You can buy, sell and trades games or anything you want really, the same on cheapassgamer.com

You really need to look for deals throughout the year. Waiting until the last minute never helps, in any situation.

Meh, I just let MS take whatever they want from me automatically every year. I guess I'm just a high roller like that.

I usually pay full price for Live myself. I'm not really worried about spending a few extra pennies per day. I go to work so i'll have money to buy stuff.

Yeah. I look for deals since there are so many deals around for buying stuff there's bound to be a place that has it for sale. But if stuck with regular price $60 vs $40, it comes to an extra nickel per day!

*The future is bright

Xbox Live COMPUTE :)

Game on.

That's great news. Once it's included in the major engines it shouldn't be to much of a problem for third party devs to implement. It's going to be a long generation and I expect MS to push devs to use what the X1 is capable of just like the devs use the extra power of the PS4.
The future is looking brighter for the X1 every day.
This, plus the article yesterday saying MS research have cracked the lag is great news.

My body is really for UE4. Will be subscribing to UE4 next month.

It will be a long time before I use these cloud features, but its good news for X1 developers.

a bit off topic, but Unreal Engine 4 just got support for "Tiled Resources" too, via the Granite SDK plug-in

My head feels heavy with all these new stuff. The amount of new stuff that a developer need to keep learning is pretty mind bogging.

I expect maybe major studios with more human resources to adopt these technology first, then later the smaller developers with less resources.

Good stuff for X1. Just comparing how X1 and PS4 were at the start and how each system is progressing.... (SDK, tools, lots of dashboard OS additions, gaming improvements).... X1 is on the way up big time, while PS4 is basically still the same as before.

Not that I am aware of.
A lot of English words are creeping to German & other languages. American Influence.
Sarcasm is still pretty 'American' thing, if I am not mistaken.

I think its available for PC, X1 & PS4.

Great news. x1 needs anything it can get to catch up.

I kind of hope it doesn't catch up, I like X1 as the underdog, it makes MS try harder and bring more games and features to the table. The funny thing about all the gloating of PS fans is the more X1 falls behind, the more MS reaches into those deep pockets and snaps up more exclusive games and apps.

I hope MS does. Fierce competition will force Sony to price more competitively as well and in the end, it'll only benefit us as gamers. Healthy competition is key.
