Just received an email confirmation for my in-store pick up time from Best Buy. I was doubtful because I haven't heard anything since preordering but Its starting to feel like I will be getting my XSX on day 1 and I'm getting super excited.
When I preordered I went with the option for in-store pick up. And my recently received confirmation is scheduled for pick up on (11/10) between 6:30-7:00 am. I not sure what's going on for those who went with the shipping option.
An answer at Best Buy regarding delivery of Xbox Series on day of release:
A:Answer According to Best Buy: "We do our best with every pre-order to ensure it’s delivered as close to release as possible by shipping it out at a level of service needed for it to get to you on release day. Depending on a number of factors, such as your proximity to one of our stores or distribution centers, pre-orders often ship out for different people at different times."
Luckily for once. In the UK, Wales comes out of Covid-19 lockdown on the 9th. GAME has emailed to ask all pre-orders to pre pay on the 9th and pick up on the 10th.

My MS order has Shipped! Got tracking code and is estimated to be here on 11/10.
Got my notification from Microsoft that console shipped and will be here on the 11th.
They put it in a ballot envelope? I mean, they shipped it "next week sometime ground".
What region you in? My order at MS switched from "Pending" to "Pre-ordered" (probably switched back to pre-ordered which gives me no comfort) but delivery date still says Nov 10th. Haven't got any emails yet...I'm in USA btw.
Decided last minute I want a Series X at launch, so gonna need one of you to make that happen. Thanks!

I am going away in a few days until the 15th, which is kinda sad for gaming, but as planned. It's going to be fun to come home to a shiny new console after vacation! However, knowing that it'll be sitting inside my place (when it gets brought inside) will make me so excited to come back home! I will try to keep up with your impressions until then.
It’s actually the 10th and apparently MSoft can have carrier hold the package till a certain day for delivery.
I was at Costco yesterday and they said they will be getting a shipment in. I’ve found that they are sometimes the best place to pick one up without a preorder.
I didn't get an email either. Went to review order and saw the status change and FedEx info. Honestly, I think it's sitting at FedEx because there's an order not to have it delivered before 11/10. So, once it's ready to move is when I'll probably get an update.
Mine still doesn't have shipping info but they're good about getting it to me late on the evening on release day and I fully expect a 7:55 delivery on the 10th.
My Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy order statuses are all the same as the day I pre-ordered on day one. The only exception is Best Buy I can't make changes anymore.
