Yes we won a game and kobe finally had a great game lol.

Also, Anthony Davis is a beast.

Less Drake.

KLOVE cant seem to find his game this season. Looks like it's the lebron effect (he doesn't make you better, ball dominate, spread the floor, jump shooter, etc.) like Bosh said.

I think this is the first time in about 8 years that LeBron James is not the best player in the NBA.

Anthony Davis is the guy now.

Raps blew out the championship favourites on the road tonight.

All thanks to this man.

I know nothing about basketball. Just about everything I've said in this thread has turned out to be wrong.

It was understood the Cavs had gaping holes everywhere, especially their bench. Their biggest concern this year is to convince Love to not bolt after the season as they gave up their future for him. Lebron and Irving will learn to coexist, but, at what point? Hopefully for the Cavs it's before Love is convinced that relationship is dysfunctional. Lebron isn't the player who should be playing with a top level point guard because he commands the ball. Miami was the perfect setup for him as far as a starting five is concerned. It was their bench that was the question mark. Now you've got a tougher situation for Lebron and the bench is far worse than what was in Miami.

First of all, let me say that I am attacking the post and not the poster here. Plainview has done a wonderful service to us all by leading us all the the holy land known as UnionVGF. With that being said, are you nuts?!

1) I noticed you wrote this on November 23rd rather than before opening tip off of the Cavs v. Knicks season opener. You know what they say about hindsight.

2) "It was understood the Cavs had gaping holes everywhere, especially their bench." "...gaping holes everywhere" What? Perhaps it's not for me to say, but I have a hard time believing the David Blatt, LeBron James, Kevin Love, and the majority of sports media thought that the 2014/2015 Cleveland Cavaliers have gaping holes everywhere. I don't think LeBron James would have returned to Cleveland if he saw a franchise with "gaping holes everywhere". I don't think Kevin Love would have agreed to come to Cleveland if he saw "gaping holes everywhere". I don't think everyone on the planet called them title contenders before the season started, if there were "gaping holes everywhere".

3) Their bench is not the problem Pt I: LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving have all played a ridiculous amount of minutes this year. They're playing all those minutes because games are close. The bench has nothing to do with that. Their bench is not the problem Pt II: Tristain Thompson and Dion Waiter are both number 4 overall picks from 3 and 4 years ago. They both logged a lot of NBA minutes and have experience starting. Both of them are also about to enter the prime of their NBA careers. These are exactly the type of players you want coming off the bench for your team. Mike Miller and Shawn Merrian are now scrubs apparently? There are 15 teams in the NBA who would straight up swap benches with the Cavs right now. The Cavs aren't losing games because of their bench.

4) Miami was anything but the perfect setup for James. James and Wade both played practically the same position and Bosh changed his game drastically to get everything working properly. Did you see him taking a lot of corner three's in Toronto? It worked because they were all good-great defensive players and they had enough talent on offense to figure things out.

Cleveland is not going to win too many games if the each and every player is trying to create his own shot. No matter how talented. Lebron has to play some defense too.
The stat line for Kyrie is getting familiar: 28 pts, 0 asst. He is supposed to be a point guard.
Plus Blatt, although a great basketball coach is still an NBA rookie. I'm sure he has his hands full with all those overblown egos.
On the bright side what other division can you be below 500 and still be in seventh place?
They will get better though bc talent wins out eventually. Growing pains.

I knew Cavs would struggle this year. Give them a year of playing together first. And rumors already flying K Love could leave town. All those people hyping them and already handing them the crown look like idiots now.

If Spurs can make it through the West again then a repeat could happen. Raps do look great though in the East. And Kobe arm is going to fall off this season lol. Rockets looking great too. Oh and A Davis for MVP kid is a beast!

TOOO much hype for these Cavaliers. Yes the Lebron James factor is huge but Love a world beater, a guy you can trust when it's time to get things done? NO I'm not buying it plus who's playing the Cavs D? We know they can make buckets but can they stop them? also I can't see Irving and Lebron working from the off, its a partnership that will need time to develop.

They over in Cleveland are building a solid foundation but this Isn't no championship team.

Quote from August 8th.

Looks like the Cavs are starting to get on a roll. Kyrie with 37 points and the clutch shot in MSG tonight.

I'm going to book up tickets to see the Bulls ($66) and The Cavs ($124) at my local team the Warriors next month tomorrow. You can't go wrong with those prices from StubHub.

Nice, but you should try to get your tickets via Craigslist or eBay.

I'm going to a Lakers game this Tuesday. Got it for $110 (2 tickets) via Craigslist (from a season ticket holder). Yeah the seats are in the 300 level, but thats what I can afford right now plus all the hardcore lakers are up there. Gonna be buck wild.

James. Irving and Love are playing crazy amounts of minutes right now. that had better change or they will crap out in the end

I watched that whole game. If that's "on a roll", then you can bet your ass the Cavs get swept in the first round of the playoffs this year. Kyrie played hero ball and they beat the worst Knicks team in existence by 3 points. They're a pretty average team right now.

I'm watching Kentucky v Texas right now and there's an unbelievable amount of shady practice going on behind the scenes at Kentucky right?

How do you convince that many top tier players to sit on the bench for so long when they could be playing max minutes at just about any other program?

The Cavs just took out the Raptors by 14 points who were the top team in the East. 6 straight wins. They're on a roll. Only team getting swept is your Rubio led Wolves. Oh wait, they ain't even making the playoffs. If Rubio's so good why couldn't he lead the Wolves past the 0-17 Sixers?

No Drake gifs tonight Mangoes? Raptors just got sent back to Jurassic Park. The Cavs are the best team in the NBA, nevermind the East. King James will rise.

That's it. I can't take you people anymore.

Group C for you.

Try watching basketball sometime. You'll learn some stuff like...

The Cavs v Raptors game was neck and neck until the final two minutes. And Rubios been injured for the past five weeks. Good God, where have you been lol?
