2014-2015 NBA Off-Season Thread

It would be pretty interesting to see the melt downs if Lebron did leave the Cavs again.

So Rondo comes back to Boston and drops 29 points. Goes 5/7 for three. Good trade Ainge. What a joke.

Shumpert and JR. Smith to the Cavs! Shumpert should help a bit.
Smith could help untie shoes. Cavs just invited another knucklehead to help out in their downward spiral.
cant believe they got a protected first rounder for Waiters though.

Cleveland trades away 2 protected first rounders for who??
they are now a team of panicky individuals

Cleveland is going to be devastated when Lebron leaves again.

Saw this posted in the comment section of an article on ESPN.

1. Only player in NBA history to quit because of Air Conditioner.
2. Quit on his team the year after he promises a championship.
3. Dunked on by a high school kid then confiscates the tape.
4. Bail on the dunk contest 9 times.
5. Only able to win a ring with 2 superstars.
6. Play on same team as his moms boyfriend.
7. Average 1.8 pts in the 4th quarter of NBA finals.
8. Lose not 1, not 2, but 3 times in the Finals.
9. Host a national televised TV show to leave his team.
10. Go 2 for 18 in an NBA playoff game.
11. Get stuffed by a player under 6 feet. (Nate Robinson)
12. Flop every single game in the playoffs.
13. Choke 4 out of 5 finals games by dropping FG% by 18.

How bout' those Cavs? hate to say I told you so.

Wait, you mean the same Cavs team that's riddled with injuries? The same Cavs team that sucked last year and is relevant this year because Lebron came back and LBJ hasn't even played in two weeks? Yup, you sure told us. I think everyone expected there to be some growing pains. Shumpert and Smith are going to be big pieces for this team. I hope they get into the playoffs as the 6-8 seed and 'shock' somebody. That would be hilarious.

Growing pains I can live with, but 2/3 of you boys had them as the 'best' team in the league and the champions before the season started. You being one of them. The above sounds a lot more realistic, glad to see the Cav fan club is back down in earth breathing the same air we all breath.

Shumpert and Smith will be flops on the Cavs. I expect to see Shump gone to a contender on the west, maybe Spurs, and the Cavs try to trade Smith since he's definitely going to exercise his option.

The West is going to be a battle ground in the Playoffs. Can not wait to watch it. It is anyone's to win this year going to make for some entertaining basketball.

I see TD still on the Cavs bandwagon lol that team is a train wreck this year.

The Spurs are 25-16, good for 7th in the West. I'll laugh if they miss the playoffs. No chance at a repeat either way. They'll get fed to the wolves if they run into the Warriors again. This is Timmy's last year, so enjoy it. Then you'll see all those bandwagon Spurs fans go into hiding. It'll be worse than Miami.

I just watched Rose destroy the Celtics with threes. I'd be so depressed if i didn't have the Patriots right now. On to the Super Bowl tomorrow. Other than that Boston sports is in shambles at the moment. I love being a spoiled sports fan. Every time my team loses it's almost as if they sky is falling while most people have never seen their teams win anything, lol.

Andrew Wiggins just scored 31 points on 11/17 shots. Kevin Love gets benched during crunch time.

Flip Saunders is GM of the year.

PS: Timberwolves will be second most exciting young team after this year's draft.

Who said Spurs were for sure repeating this year? They battle in the West where it is always a battleground, Cavs suck in the East.

The Cavs looked great against the Bulls tonight. What a shock. The Cavs get healthy and look unbeatable again. Why would anyone think we won't see this come playoff time in May? Writing this team off is probably the best thing for them. No pressure. They will be the team nobody wants to play.
