Am I the only one that thinks this game is mediocre looking?
People rag on EA Sports and Activision milking Call of Duty. Yet if someone did a list of sequel-itis, I bet Ass Creed would be right up there. Is there any action game in the history of gaming which has a trend of annual games? Maybe. But I can't think of one. That's usually saved for sports (roster updates and tweaks) and CoD (new maps and tweaks).Maybe this series will finally die now. Stop the sequel factory and do something new.
Also, this is a big reason why I don't support preorder.
Maybe they can return to Prince of Persia?
^^ It's called realism! The animus is not a perfect machine, and Ubisoft has to simulate that!

Did Ubisoft make it ?
I can't wait until next week, when you guys all buy Farcry 4 and find out Ubi rushed that as well and manage to f*** up another franchise... but I swear, if they f*** with Siege I'm gonna rage!!
f*** up any game you want Ubi, I don't care, just please spare Seige. It's the last hope.
Far Cry 4 from all the hands on impressions seems like it will be fine. I agree on Siege though. Hope they do not fook it up
I'm glad I sold my code while it was worth something.

I played the game for a good 6 hours tonight and it went by quickly which is a good thing IMO. The game really is beautiful, it blows AC4 out of the water graphically. There are some issues with things popping in here and there at times yes and the framerate isn't super stable but it's not a mess either. The only significant issues I've had with the framerate happened when I was inside a church with no other characters, I was climbing around on the stained glass windows and the framerate dropped to what seemed like low single digits. I do think it would have been nice if Ubisoft had kept it back just a bit longer and tried to keep optimizing and do more to clean up some of these issues but overall the game is very playable and really gorgeous to look at. Something about the lighting and animations make it look almost real at times.
Might keep my copy after all. Thanks for the impressions.
If you like past Assassin creed games you will like this. I just replayed the old ones and this seems to be smoother. The worst thing that happened is a church light puzzle, it slowed down a lot. Other then that sometimes in the city when running around the corners it may stutter here and there. It doesn't ruin the game.Might keep my copy after all. Thanks for the impressions.

A bug on both system, parity! Lol. Man do I love this game though. It reminds me of when I first played 2. Constant smiles here.Yeah that church slide show was a bummer because that's a beautiful area in the game. That has to be a bug, I can't think of any other reason why it would slow down so much in there.
Hm look at that. Someone here who has played the game and has a rather favorable impression. How can that be!?I played the game for a good 6 hours tonight and it went by quickly which is a good thing IMO. The game really is beautiful, it blows AC4 out of the water graphically. I remember last year playing Ryse and Black Flag , my wife and I wished for an Assassins Creed game that looked like that. This is the closest yet and has far more meat.
ignorant comment of the day. You haven't played it, you haven't walked through the palaces. You are in neither mine nor my wife's head so you have nothing to stand onOverstatement of the day.
You've mistaken. Only one opinion can be right.ignorant comment of the day. You haven't played it, you haven't walked through the palaces. You are in neither mine nor my wife's head so you have nothing to stand on
If that's the way we feel it is the truth. Sorry but I don't subscribe to all the hate.
