Going back on topic, xbox has one hell of a line up;

All retail,
Rare replay
Gears remastered
Forza 6
Fable legends
Halo 5
Tomb Raider
Quantum Break
Scalebound
Recore
Sea of thieves
Gears 4
Halo wars 2
Crackdown

That's all coming out next 6-18 months and not counting indie games.

If ps4 can beat that good on it.

Right now I only want uncharted 4 and horizon.

Yeah, it's a crazy lineup; Interested in pretty much every one of those games except Fable Legends.

Right now I only want uncharted 4 and horizon.

Same here in terms of the PS4. If Gran Turismo 7 comes out next year and is good (and not dissapointing for its time like the previous two Gran Turismo games) then I'll get a PS4 in 2016.

Meh, it is a good list if you're a fanboy....

Yes they are losing overall. Sales don't matter console wise just game wise.lol
? Games are the only thing that matters I thought? Particularly in the "game lineup comparison thread"

BB didn't sell well, I could care less who says it did or did not, the fact is ps4 has a huge install base and Xbox games are selling better still. That shouldn't happen.

You just said Forza is AAA, so TR isn't? It's still a 2015 exclusive, you can't buy it everywhere else this year.
.

Based on what? Some have sold better. Some have not. But as a whole the Ps4 exclusives have absolutely sold better. You know where the best selling exclusives on the gen are? Wii U.

I think they are both AAA. I am just talking about your logic. Based on your past prediction of its sales TR must not be a AAA.

You've said BB is AAA, I said TR would sell similar numbers to BB, which isn't good. So, by your logic it is.

However, 1 million is pathetic when its your frontrunner "AAA" exclusive for an entire year, especially considering the install base. Forza will outsell it easily with less half the install base and that game isn't even MS's frontrunner for the year.

Deep down, The Dark Sorcerer, and Shadow of the Beast? I thought we would see those as 2016 games.

I noticed you have to click through 10 pages to get that whole list I posted above, and that's annoying, so I will just list the games myself. These are console exclusive retail games for the PS4, from the remainder of 2015 and 2016. I'm using GI's data, so any squabbles, take it up with them. Some are timed-exclusive. I left out all the indies and the retail games that have been released earlier in 2015.

Disgeae 5
Gran Turismo 7
Dreams
H1Z1
Hellblade
Hollowpoint
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Kill Strain
Killing Floor
Kingdom Under Fire
The Last Guardian
Let It Die
Orcs Must Die: Unchained
Onechanbara Z2: Chaos
Ratchet and Clank
Planetside 2
Street Fighter V
Teraway Unfolded
The Tomorrow Children
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
Until Dawn
Without Memory

Just at a glance GT7, Horizon, and TLG are vey suspect for 2016. GT7 for sure. When the creator says he will "try" to get it out before 2017, that means 2018

Yeah we have established that I think they are AAA and you don't. What I was saying is if you only think there is one AAA exclusive on either system this year than either they both have bad lineups or the term is such an exclusive title that it really isn't a big deal if a title isn't. 1 vs 0 is a victory though so I guess a win is a win.

Nope it sold well. It shouldn't have been the biggest title of the year for PS4 though. I have never denied that. I agree that PS4s fall exclusive lineup should be better. I said that right from the start. I am simply saying that Bloodborne shouldn't be dismissed because it didn't sell 48 million units.

Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive only. Meaning Tomb Raider is too popular for Square-Enix to let Microsoft buy it out and make it a full-fledged exclusive. And I don't see the point of comparing sales of a new IP to the sales of an established 15-year-old IP. You also shouldn't compare sales of a game releasing on a single platform to one that is releasing on three platforms this holiday 2015/2016 on X1/360/PC with two more platforms to be released the year after. Not that sales are indicative of the quality of the AAA title by any means.

*shrug* Horizon and TLG are both announced for 2016. I don't think either will slip. GT might. I don't remember it having had a clear announcement. Maybe GI knows something I don't.

Yeah I don't think it ever had a real official announcement. Probably have awhile on that.

Anything that is over a year out is a candidate for a delay

You are hopeless.
At following the heard?...... YOURE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! I agree.... Hope to do it more.

But while youre at it, can you give an example of where Sony has or can use Cloud? Even at the level of TF or Forza 5, FH2? Let alone Crackdown. And further more, is there any example you can give us where Sony even has plans to apply Cloud technology?

PlayStation Now is using Da Cloud (TM). Mcmasters forgot about PlayStation Now, pass it on.

Poor Xbox One does seem to get a bit out of breath trying to pretend to be the greatest console ever made - Xbox 360. Turn off the forced V-sync MS, jeez.

NATIVE EMULATION IS KING THOUGH AND XBOX 360 IS THE BEST.

Large margin? The only true ps4 retail exclusive to score well is BB and that is a 2015 game.

2015 is not over.

Also, looking at metacritic, looks like xb1 has an exclusive that could outsell most those ps4 games combined, despite a smaller user base. Popularity is directly related to lineup. Has to be said. You brought up sales here.
Yes as I have showed the PS4 has a large advantage in overall higher rated exclusives.
There ya go again with sales talk smh...I don't run out and buy the game that I heard sold well I buy the games that get good reviews/good word of mouth. Besides the PS4 wins in sales anyway

Destiny's use of the cloud DESTROYS Titanfall

Yeah I'm just discussing 2015 only. No man's sky was in here too at one point and was valid in ps4's 2015 lineup, even though its coming to PC.

Not sure what happened to that game either.

You really hurt your cause by providing that link though. I was thinking I would see some strong presence, instead I saw mostly games on other platforms.

You don't run and buy a game that sold well? That's good, but many other people do for other reasons apparently, or else xb1's little install base wouldn't have a chance, but instead we have a game coming out this fall that could eclipse 70% of ps4's retail exclusive lineup by itself. I'm not just talk about 2015 either. Popularity is important in a lineup. If the big mac is outselling most of Burger Kings lineup by itself-that's huge and warranted in discussion.

TLG was supposed to release in 2011, 2012 too.

Not sure about Horizon, they still don't have a date on their site or the E3 trailer. All I've heard is speculation from developers. If you'll notice all the other big games put 2016 in their trailers and site.

No the link speaks for itself/=doesn't paint XBO exclusives in a good light.
The last part of what I said you misquoted and LOL to the non response.

I saw the link, I expected more from both.

Where is this a hardware VS thread. Val you are in games lineup thread. Go to the top of the page you can see the title. Games lineup discussion can be about popularity as I explained and halo is more popular than anything sony has to offer even with a smaller install base. Even Forza is to a degree to my surprise.

With the except of Gran Turismo Halo has always sold more than Sony games

I guess it turns out PS2 had no games.

So as its been proven in this linuep comparison thread the ps4 currently has the better lineup then the xbo.
So you continue to spin other OT things like sales and now delays.

Nah PS2 was a beast console all the way around, heavy hitters, variety, and most importantly, no excuses.

I think Ps4 has the better remaster and indie lineup, but again 2015 for MS hasn't started yet. I know you already know that, yet you keep bringing it up.
