Orc Vaulting Sim 2014.
Only move you need, vault, rapid hits to get an execution, repeat.

Process gets faster the more abilities you get but still the same. If a captain is immune to being vaulted just do it on a random orc then turn the execution on the captain, easy mode.

Easy mode, sure...but boring. I have stopped vaulting entirely. I also only use my 20 seconds of executions if I am about to die. This game really needs an insane difficulty option.
 
I just walked up in one of the strongholds, let them sound the alarm, eventually branded two captains and about 12 uruks all during combat, then just kept rebranding more uruks wave after wave as my guys died. Then when I got to the around 17 uruks branded I killed them all instantly. This game is alot easier than batman AA.

When is the branding of captains unlocked? I still can't do any branding. I'm in the second area. What's the button for doing it again?

Brand is the same as drain. You unlock it by doing the story mission that has to do with the old queen. I'm pretty sure the story unlocks pretty much as soon as you get to the 2nd map.
 
Wow, sorta looks like no one has noticed that an update yesterday added a photo mode!! Lovin' the game, and lovin' the new photo-mode as well!!

Yeah,it's awesome. I want to capture that moment during a high combo when Celebrimbor desembodies himself and takes over the body.
 
I am addicted to this game. I just can not stop wanting to play it. Has been years since a game( Gears 3) did that to me.

It's a great game. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I'm sticking with Alien for the moment but I'm going back to finish off the achievements and do the score attack mode as well

Same here. Will be playing Alien for the time being, but will eventually make my way back to this. Can't wait to test out the photo mode.

Alien, eh. Not that it is a bad game. I am just not in the mood for its style right now. I have an action thirst that needs satisfying.
 
This is the GOTY for me so far. There is a moment when one of the big chiefs arrives with a bunch of fanfare and I just dropped down and decapitated him. That was more awesome than any kill in the AC series.
 
I just had to choose between this and FH2. Talk about a tough decision! I eventually settled on Mordor, but damn! Talk about a great problem to have!

Speaking of tough decisions, I like that the powers are each meaningful enough that it's hard to choose what to upgrade first. That's good design!
 
you call an Orc one of the runes is 10 plus sicends of unlimited kills. Yet to do it yet going to be a killing menhine man. I know it's hard as s*** to brand orcs in a fight wish they had a fast way to do it other then grapping an Orc and holding O. Other orcs always hit man while doing it.

Eventually you do get an ability to "combat brand", where you can quickly brand an enemy mid-combo with X+O or A+B...

Holy Hell, this game is CRACK! I must do EVERYTHING!!! It is SOoooo easy to get "lost" on the way to the objective! Love the Sandbox approach.

has anyone seen the last gen versions? I can't find footage anywhere.
 
Yeah, for some reason the last-gen version got delayed to Nov. 18th for some reason. Dunno what sort of issue the studio making those versions ran into...

Maybe wanted to focus on pushing the next-gen versions out for increased exposure before the megatons hit with Halo MCC... GTA V... COD AW... Assassin's Creed Unity... Far Cry 4... Dragon Age Inquisition... yeah lots of competition in November.

They probably wanted to sell more next gen copies, as the vast majority hasn't jumped into the new hotness. They will have a couple months of seeing these versions, so when the old gen games come out, they will look even worse! Wait... not sure that makes sense...

Most new games are purchased on the newer consoles. Destiny proved this with 35% of all sales to X1, followed by 32% for PS4 making up already 67% total just for standalone units in NA, not to mention digital and bundle purchases (~300k for PS4). How much did last gen sell again?

Maybe in the second half when you get all the powers, But the re-spawning captains are a hassle.
