Middle-Earth Shadow Of Mordor Discussion

With the recent delay of DAI it looks like this game is back on my radar for a day 1 purchase. I was going to wait for the steam winter sale to pick it up but now that I'll have an extra month to wait for DAI this should be the perfect game to scratch that itch.

I just hope it turns out as good as it looks/sounds.

Holy s$@t that game looks cool I'm excited they moved it up to September that's kind of awesome.
 
Great we get this game a little earlier, but it just makes me think one of these games set to release late sep-oct time frame would have struck gold if they could have got their title out this summer with the drought. Imagine this game out now? Probably tons of sales minus the competition they'd have later in the year.
 
Cool. Just watched OP's video. Seems interesting so you're supposed to defeat warchiefs and other "bosses" in order to turn the tides of war and you gain loot and become a legend in the process?

Yeah. Basically. The enemies are procedurally generated and will advance in abilities over time and depending on your actions. It's very slick. Hopefully the idea pans out well in the game. This is one of the first games to try something completely new so I'm really looking forward to it.

This is the sort of game I will play on the highest difficulty, just to make most use of the battle memory feature.

Being a casual gamer sure is easy on the wallet. I got 11 games coming and I want to play them all :(

Also, Arkham ? Isn't that Batman game coming in 2015?
 
I knew I should've pre-ordered this when I had the chance. Probably going to wait for a price drop before getting it... but there's a whole bunch of games coming out so I guess it's not too bad.
 
More interested in this over AC unity at this point. Probably only going to play one or the other, no time for both.

Whole game sounds like good fun :D it can not come quick enough.
In all seriousness I have no clue how I am going to pay for all these fall games, or find the time to give them all the attention they deserve.
