I guarantee that everyone giving this game a great score has NOT completed it.
When the IGN reviewer states that the difficulty of this game is BRUTAL, that was an UNDERSTATEMENT. DO NOT allow yourself to be roped in by the pretty graphics, descent review score, or interesting game play of the first hour or so. The game gets so difficult that I GUARANTEE that only one out of a thousand people will ever finish it.

There is a level where the water starts to rise and you have to escape vertically. I am an accomplished gamer of over 25 years and I literally made over 150 attempts at this one part. For the first time in 25 years I smashed my controller, swallowed two Clonopins (anxiety medication), and instantly....and I DO MEAN INSTANTLY deleted this steaming pile of garbage off my Xbox.

The developer had the choice to make a challenging game with awesome graphics and great gameplay. Instead they have chosen to segregate 99% of the gaming market by catering to the tiniest portion of not just the elite gamers, but the best of the elite. I absolutely hope that this developer never sells another game.

I want my $20 back and I want those 2 hours back as well.
This game deserves a 2 out of 10. It is on my list of the WORST games ever made.

Amazing how he was able to delve so deep into the game just "2 hours" into the game. lol
I need to figure out how to reach this area. Very top right of Thornfelt swamp. I'm 98% there. It's one of those parts you would ground pound, but it's above me. And there's no enemy projectile to reflect. It sucks because If anyone responds, I'll be long gone from this area by then lol.
Just curious, in this game can you always go back to old areas and explore? Or are there times which if you pass a level or act, that's it. You just closed off some areas for good?

It's mostly one bigass map where you can go wherever, some areas blocked until you get certain powerups. You'll be pushing forward for the first couple hours, well I'm at like 4 hours and just now wandering all over the place. There's one area so far for me, where it's a one and done.
You can't get in to that area until very late in the game when you get you're last ability.
The only areas you can't get back into are the "dungeons" if you will. I know for certain that Forlorn ruins is completely blocked off after you trigger its "end sequence". However, all other areas are completely open.
That's the part I just past but not once did I think of quitting or getting rid of game. I got frustrated but just kept chipping away at it.
WOW, who knew this average gamer (me) could climb so high as to be regarded as " The Best of the Elite." Do I get an award? Should I prepare a speech?
The game has its challenging moments, but it isn't actually difficult. It just requires a little finesse and patience.
I'm only like an hour and a half in to the game so far, have 34 deaths. The majority of them came from
the part with the spider nest dangling in the middle that you have to knock down with a charge. Didn't realize you could knock it down and repeatedly died trying to make some amazing leap.
I did the same s*** for about 30 mins, rage quit. Then came back later for 10 more mins until...
"oooooh, you can jump on this thing. "

Ok. So I am loving this game so much. But.....I've ran into a glitch that's pissing me off. Well at least I think it's a glitch.
At a certain point in the game where you have to explore underwater, the game isn't letting me jump back out of the water. So Iget stuck.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Am I doing something wrong?
