Every game they've shown is coming in 2018 or 2019. Not that hard to figure out. Will Xbox even show a new game before 2019? Halo 6 and Horizon 4 don't count, we know they're coming.

Paris game show was all about a 3 year old echo for the PlayStation (aside from Ghost) and people are still hyped for them in the Sony camp. 90% of the content shown were known about. Those still count, right? We haven't even seen the next Halo or Horizon. Much less have they've been advertised.

I could have been far more critical and came right out and said BC is great.. but it's time to focus on new games Microsoft. No, i give them their props for a well done program. For one the meta concept of achievements has only been around 12 years not 14 and 2....so what? Devaluing others opinions because of their trophy count is pretty pointless. Why do I have to own a game and get all the points for it to comment about loot boxes?

This largely seems off topic. Its only worth bringing up to contrast what Nintendo, Sony and MS announced this year and see if it was bad/better in relation to or in relation to prior events. Sony announced a lot in 2016 for instance so that's taken into account.

IMO ..Sony had a lacklusture E3 which could have been explained and understood by a strong PSX/PGW, it wasn't. I'm saying it now because I can. Showing the same games had jack all to do with it, at least for me

I think it was a decent showing and happy the games are coming along nicely. But I'm also kind of tired of waiting for them.

It feels like a lot of this generation has been spent waiting for the games that I'm most interested in.

I'm tired of waiting also, but at the same time i have more to play than i'll ever need. People need to relax. I would have enough to play if i only owned one console. So having both PS4 and Xbox One is gaming heaven. I don't understand it on either side, but whenever you point out that Sony is doing a better job on the games front people get bent out of shape. Like it's some kind of conspiracy theory.

Really try and stay out of it with this guy but he just pushes and pushes. Every thread is a pissing contest. He says i ruined his thread but then i go into my Mario Odyssey thread and there he is talking about Microsoft vs Sony in a f***ing Nintendo thread, lol. Like come on. Just let it go. He can't.

I mean, don't think for one minute that as a PS fan i wasn't pissed that it took 4 years for a GT game and God of War game to release. One still hasn't. At the same time, i'm thrilled that Sony has invested in so many new games so it makes up for it. On the Xbox side, what do you even have to counter with other than salt? Like somehow pointing out that Sony delays games and hypes games makes your situation any better. It doesn't, no matter how hard you try.

Wow! You weren't insulted. I didn't offend your PS4 console. I simply stated the truth. You can't count or discount which games count when it suits your agenda. Paris for Sony was DEFINITELY an echo from two years ago. The games looked great! I have no problem admitting that. Sonys first party definitely looks stronger than Xbox so far.

God of War and Spider-Man were announced in 2016 so it's not even close to 3 years, hell it's not even 2 years yet. Those games should be out before the next E3 (unless something is delayed which is a possibility) so that's less than 2 years between announcement and release. The only really old game shown was Detroit and that was announced 2 years ago Both Sony and MS could learn a thing about not announcing games too far out though, neither one has been very good about that this gen.

It's a trippy little game. You are a dragon, flying around. The movement feels pretty good. The camera gets confused sometimes, with all the different angles.

I like it. Nice visuals. Gameplay is engaging, though simple. Atmosphere is sort of like Journey or Abzu. It's pretty relaxing.

I beat the first colossus. I'm probably :45 in or so.

Bought it this morning, but just let it download as I had to leave to work. Looking forward to starting it up later today. Hopefully I don't get too addicted to finish it in one sitting. Anything seem to lead you to believe there is additional replay value? For $19.99 I don't care one way or the other, just curious.

We've basically been waiting 5 months to see if E3 they really were holding tons of games back (Bloodborne 2, DMC 5, Secret PS4 Game). They weren't and now we apparently can't talk about it because your gamerscores not next level or it will hurt your feelings if you get no ratings.

I read Schreirs book. He confirmed Sony actively, deliberatley misleads about release dates. It's called bait and switch. Can we discuss it? IDK TD will need to let me know how many likes i need.

All of their dev houses are working on announced projects or DLC for games that just came out along with a couple of outside studios contracted to work on exclusives, how many games do you think they can make at one time? TLOU2, Days Gone, God of War, Spider-Man, Detroit, Horizon FW, Dreams, SOTC, Ghost of Tsushima, Concrete Genie and we just got Horizon ZD, GTS and Uncharted DLC this year along with smaller games like Knack 2 and others not even counting VR. That's pretty good when you consider they are one publisher.

Just a few months ago you were saying SP being in trouble because they laid people off not long after ISS released because they hadn't met some imaginary sales expectation you said they had. I told you then that they were working on a new IP and that they don't need the full staff early on in projects because it takes time to ramp things up and that layoffs during that period at any studio is totally normal. Then you said that they were just taking too long and that new IP's don't take any longer than sequels. It's like you didn't realize that you don't just go into full production right away, you have to develop the idea from concept to full production and that doesn't happen overnight, especially when you are shifting into something that's totally different from what they've been making. I even pointed out to you that they got a brand new high tech motion capture studio and you were still insistent that whatever they were working on was in development hell simply because they hadn't announced it yet and that the studio could end up being closed.

One thing Sony doesn't do is rush their studios, they give them time to make their games, other than MLB I can't think of any series they have that comes out every year or even every other year.

Whens it come out? If the answer is "more than 5 years after their last game" i'd say thats pretty bad, given Titanfall 2 is a year old. 5 years killed Mass Effect. Hows it totally different? Its another 3rd person open world game.

Sort of. You'll see, they are these little orbs you collect. They make a nice shimmery sound when you get them. Here's a brief video of some gameplay (there's an orb at 0:31). They function sort of as coins that you use to activate stuff.

That is why I said 5 years to get the picture of what they are doing as a whole. If you aren't happy with what Sony published from 2013-2017 then you probably won't be thrilled with what they do from 2018-2022.

Some of the dev houses are small as well, SP isn't much over 100 neither is Bend, media molecule is fewer than 100. Japan studio has several games already released, it's likely made up of several smaller teams. ND is big but they don't do full production on more than one game at a time, neither does GG. Santa Monica had a game that was never announced but well into development cancelled a couple of years ago and they also had a smaller group working with indie studios. They really have been putting out a lot of games, especially when you consider Santa Monica put out GOW Ascension in 2013 and PD put out GT6 in 2013 which was the year the PS4 was released.
