They have invested a billion in X1 games haven't they. I read that somewhere. So for now that's at least a start.( if what I read is true.)

For some reason i picture you sleeping with a list of PS4 paper specs under your pillow at night everytime you come across another great looking X1 game. Gotta keep the 50 more powah dream alive! LOL.
I'm actually enjoying the posts that swear by Zeus that the X1 isn't as powerful as the Ps4. That way when the consoles release and multiplatform games perform and look equal or better on the Xbox One, the meltdowns will be glorious! Makes for good, entertaining reads later on....

Ya know what it is Nervy? It's folks who aren't even buying an Xbox1 being absolutely consumed and obsessed with it failing. I don't give a sh!t about the PS4 honestly. It (the PS4) just has to do well enough to ensure competition so that we as gamers can benefit from it. It doesn't matter whether a person is a PS or XB fan.

I'm not sure if by "architecture" they literally mean high tech specs and chips, but MS has shown some nifty dashboard/friends demos the past day or two. Good stuff. Good to see MS keep on churning out info about X1.

It would be good if MS had a Gaikai alternative.
One of the things I always laugh at are comments on the cloud articles in the past of people saying the cloud is a sham, and blah blah (we've all heard it) but then in the same breath saying that Sony is going to to great things with Gaikai.
Yeah, so offloading lighting and physics, etc, to cloud is unrealistic and MS PR hype, yet rendering an entire game and having it respond to your controller movements with precision, while beaming you back the video is realistic. Makes sense.
Unfortunately it won't pan out this way. What will probably happen is there will be excuses why X1 game look equal to PS4 games and can hear the fanboy drivel now. "Devs coding for the lowest common denominator again" or "MS money hatting devs to make sure PS4 multiplats don't look any better on PS4" .
That is unfortunately the reality. I fear the only way for PS fanboys to open their eyes is if Sony goes out of business, which wouldn't be good for the industry. Only then will you get some of these fanboys seeing the truth.

You're not going to get PS4 quality - or even current generation quality videogame with Gaikai - you'll not play Journey in PS3-quality, you'll get a Mpeg4 stream, probably similar to how the better youtube let's play-compressed quality - in your download - while you upload your button presses, creating a small amount of lag, similar to remote play - but here you'll also have server-load.

You have a hundreds of times more bandwith within xbox one than via internet - so it's not a revolutionary leveller. :-/

but unfortunately there are masses of PS4 fanboys roaming the internet under the impression that the PS4 will play PS3 quality games through Gaikai, and thinking because everything would be rendered in the cloud and streamed that button presses would be instant with no lag.
The cloud computing is crap - including the service, wich is probably some regular delivery package from Microsoft.
The fact that the night-watch at service-provider is probably a african or something, who barely speaks norwegian, when I try to wake him and explain my troubles is also crap. Usually he keeps saying that everything is fine at his place, pleas wait half an hour and call back if it's not working, for 3-4 hours, and then tell me to call back during day. So no doubt my service is crap.
There's not much I can do wrong - the only 'fix' I can do, is hook up my laptop, wich is not using cloud-computing - since all settings is not locally, then everything works like a charm.
Billions of dollers is what MS has invested in RnD and other steps to producing the X1. I'm not worried about it failing, I'm worried that MS will be so dominate that it will be the beginning of the "Beast"

Good to see MS coming firing the past month. With all the early 2013 and summer 2013 PR, debacles and forum banter past us, MS has been showing some great stuff the past few months. It seems every few days MS shows us something new and cool.
