Completing the raid on hard is why I know it will be some time before I can even hope to get the fatebringer pistol. I wasn't a believer in hand cannons until I got the Lord High Fixer and Last Word. And now with the Hawkmoon I'm a strong advocate for them.
I think you'll like the Titan. It plays very different from the Warlock and has a lot of handy abilities in both primary and subclass. I want to create a Hunter but I'm still busy with the two classes I already have. I think I'll wait until the DLC drops and then start it. I got a drop for legendary Hunter boots that I'm saving and I hope I can get a full set of armor before starting that class.
I think a lot of people miss the point of this game. Yeah, its grindy with limited content. But its very similar to a game like Diablo where you are expected to replay content. But what makes replaying that content fun is doing so as you gradually become more powerful. I get a lot of fun out of stuff like that. Where once a particular level or enemy gave me trouble but as time went by my character got stronger and was able to take on more challenge. But the complaints about the story or lack thereof are legit.
It's not that hard actually. You just need to cheese the templar part and you will have a chance to get the fatebringer.
Yeah I'm starting off with the defender subclass just so I can use it for the raid. Liking the ward of dawn a lot especially in the crucible!
