I am actually surprised that they announced it now. It was obvious it would happen but you would think they would launch the X1 version before announcing anything.
Some people here are going to have to eat some serious crow on this one
Nah. I'll admit that its not entirely exclusive (although I never suggested that the T.R. franchise would be exclusive. Just this particular title/adventure). I was wrong there. However, a year is pretty substantial. May as well be exclusive though. A year is a long time.Shocking to McMasters and maybe one or two others.
People really did that?I guess all of the people who sent death threats, called for boycotts, asked for people to be fired feel really bad now?
You PC gamers better hope this game doesn't turn out like Arkham Knight did.
People really did that?
You sure about that?

99% of multiplatform games are better on PC
I see a lot of people surprised that the exclusivity period against the PS4 is "so long." They expected it to just be 3 to 6 months. That would've put it up against Uncharted, though, which would make no sense. Besides, like others have said, MS sunk a lot of money into it, talked as if it was first-party, compared it to other games that never appeared on PS4 (Phil with a little sleight of hand there, I think) -- no way it was going to appear in just a few months. I expected it to be longer than a year, myself.
I also see people downplaying it, like it'll be worthless in a year, no one will care at that point, no one will buy it. Is it suddenly not a good game, because you're playing it a year later? People are weird.
My initial thought of 6 months was due to the fact that when this deal was announced Uncharted was still scheduled for Holiday 2015.
