The 2017 NFL Season Thread

The Bears still suck. It's amazing how bad you have to be to blow a 4th quarter two score lead against the Jags, but I'm not complaining. I do predict the Raiders will bounce back here next week, though, since they're better coached and that'll matter in the end.

Chiefs are better than the Raiders.
Sorry and they have had a bad start but they are not a mediocre team and will likely end up going farther than the up and coming Raiders.

They have a better defense and coaching staff.

You're probably right though. Our defense had me worried since pre season. You can read through the beginning of the thread.

Chiefs are still mediocre imo. Alex Smith won't be able to dink and dunk his way past good defenses.

That division is open for most in it.

You haven't seen our defense yet have you? A simple shift by the opposing offense sends the Raiders into massive confusion.

Looks like Brady is back. The AFC North got put on notice. Browns, Bengals, and Steelers all got shut down. Baltimore Ravens, you're next! Which means.. you're last!

Sorry for the wrestling comment but Goldberg is back and it fit. One more jackhammer!

FEH!!!

The AFC North SUCKS this year! Yeah, yeah, you can make the argument that Squeelers can't do anything without Ben, but even the Squeelers have problem with defense, the num. 1 problem throughout a division that is known for smash mouth defense...WEll, except the Brownies cause....It's the Brownies....Everybody wins against that useless team..........But yeah, Shizburg's defense sucks, Ratbirds even worse...Bugles front line is good but the rest? Sigh, Shizburg will win the division but that's not saying much.....

Did you guys know they're going to be putting a half a football game before, and after Lady Gaga's show in Feb?

Even I am having a challenge trying to get excited for Jags - Titans on Thursday night football. Certainly the Jaguars fan base right now is dispirited to put it mildly after a turd game against the Raiders (following up on a turd storm that they still somehow won against the Bears) and the game has all the national relevance of a Green Party primary debate.

I can't even imagine being a fan of another team other than the Pats let alone being a Jags fan. My condolences.

When we lose the sky is falling and i like it that way. I don't like losing. At anything, but especially with sports teams.

Anyone who watched this first half and isn't a Titans or Jaguars fan should have heeded my advice. The Jaguars have actually cut into the Titans lead a little but this has all the hallmarks of a poorly coached team that's finally quit on their coaching staff.

That one was a roller-coaster ride all the way through. Dallas continues to impress. Last season this would have been one of those games they would have quit on.

My body is ready for Cowboys Sunday night. It has been a fun season to watch so far for us.

Right now, I gotta say you gotta stick with the hot hand. Don't mess with things that are not broken. Even if Romo is healthy now, give him the clip board. I know it's hard to have a 20 million dollars back up but that's what Tony is now. Him coming in might upset the team's chemistry that they've built up halfway through the season. That might keep the Boyz out of the playoffs even if Dak last game showed that he is a rookie and have something things to learn. That INT was totally on him. He should've spotted that Corner lying in wait for him!

Also, the cowboys gotta stop with the obnoxious penalties. I remember vividly Zeke broke off for a 65 yard run and it all came back because of a silly holding PEN! And he was just looking at the guy as if going, "Thanks a lot man!! Tanks berry mooch!!!! NOT!!!!" Zeke would've gotten over 100 yards rushing again had not been that ticky tacky foul!

Ohh well, Boys should have an laugher next week.....................They are playing the Brownies...........................the flacking fraking Brownies.................I'm expecting a 200 yards game from Zeke!

Big matchup with the Broncos Sunday night. Go Raiders!

23 penalties, big drops, 2 missed FG's that would have been game winners and Derek Carr says, " We still got this."

Tough test Sunday night though. If we don't turn it over, we have a good shot.

YAWN!

Bungles are off this week so watched the Cowboys game. Expecting Zeke to get 200 but nope...They are keeping him fresh. Don't blame them. You don't want to run a chance of him suffering an injury against the Brownies ......And now Mark "Buttfumble" Sanchez is up.....Might as well look somewhere else! This game is over!

What the hell. 2016 is the year of karma. Seahawks don't run the ball in the Super Bowl and lose to the Pats. Now the Pats don't run the ball and lose to the Seahawks. What's going to happen next?
