I submit that something has gone terribly wrong with the PS4. With the PS4's overwhelming power advantage, they could be able to blow the X1 out of the water. Clearly they have not.
As someone stated earlier I would much rather look at the game on my TV with settings fit my custom. Launch games never tell the full story of a generation. Console players can't be mad, for what you're getting with either machine it's going to be a great time to be a gamer.
I still hold to the idea that as long as I am able to get the game and play it on the system I own, then everything is good by me.
If it were a case of a game that would be multiplatform not coming to the X1 because it couldn't be done on X1, then that would be an issue.

LOL. Thats exactly whats happening mate. Too funny. I didnt know it would come down to microscopic details to determine which vesrion looked better. Granted both versions look amazing but the X1 looks better, period. Only the desperate will attempt at nit picking details that no one will pick up on anyway. Not unless your THAT close to the screen.
All this proves is what many have been saying to begin with, The X1 is more than competent hardware and the more power argument was/is crap.
Damn. You just completely manufactured most of this post mate. The X1 was never supposed to blow the Ps4 out of the water. Many stated it would be the other way around. We simply found out this wasnt true, at least, thats the message that we were trying to get across. Sony has said every generation that they were the most powerful, and every generation that claim turns to ashes. This one will be no different.

I don't know what you expect to see from a 40% power advantage, but having a higher resolution that pushes 50% more pixels (and even does so at a higher frame rate) is just about right.
Cool story bro. What's cooler? X1 users get the game too...with hardly a noticeable difference. All this resolution and higher framerate is a cool story though bro. Cool story. Cool story.
I was reading over on the BF4 thread that some one reviewers still haven't got finished XBOX ONE systems and are still playing a non finished build of BF4 on the dev kit system too, LOL! I would imagine that the final product has been in production for a while now, but I guess the embargo I have been hearing is not only for the final games, but for the system too.

Wow at some of the comments I've read this morning. Is it that hard to say the X1 surprised A LOT of people? Hell, even I was surprised at how good the X1 version looked. Crazy stuff. People are still trying to figure out how its being done. Thats the mark of greatness right there! I frigging love it mate! 
After watching many times, I see virtually no difference in the versions. Maybe a clearer texture here and there on each, seems each has an issue at times. 40+FPS is smooth as silk, so XB1 version occasionally dipping to that, no big deal.
I think this is a perfect example to people that it isn't all about res.

Yeah and this is not complete... they said it will be patched at retail to include the effects they left out.
Oh please Hazard. The majority of opinions favor the X1 and people are still trying to wrap their head around how its being accomplished when its allegedly the weaker console. Gimme a break mate. Its not hard to see at all. But since the results dont match up to what people were expecting, NOW its about the 50% pixel count and crap. Its desperation at its finest....
The BF4 56% more pixels, higher IQ, and higher framerate is about in line with what the specs indicated. Hopefully this puts the misterx madness and "offloading balance upclock latency bottleneck secret sauce" to rest.

Its aalright if your a halo fan. I think that if you beat H4 you unlock stuff you would normally have to buy. Still getting used to phone games sobthe controls take time getting used too.
Keep living in hour dream world if you cant see how some think the PS4 version looks better then I cant help you. The only people who bought into the 50 percent power crap where fanboys. logical peopls knew they would be similar.
Overall the X1 version panned out. Period. Its only when we select preferred screenshots (static pics I might add) that the opposing opinion comes into play. In motion the evidence is clear. Bottom line.
not to stoke it further, but being played on older, and unfinished builds of XB1 software too. Final retail software and hardware is the only true measure. But at this point, nothing they are showing of the game is making me think twice that the XB1 is so underpowered. Whether or not statistically it IS, what displays on my screen is what matters. What matters to all consumers who don't even know digital foundry and lens of truth exist, is what is showing on their screen. End of story.
90% of gaming consumers could really give a s*** about pausing a game and zooming to look for missing stuff.
Visually, regardless of what is on paper or pulled from analysis, the XB1 people just got shown that their copy of the game is just as good as the "powerful" PS4.
They are similar mate. Not denying that. But over all the X1 version looks better. Thats my only point. I dont live in dream worlds by the way. I'm pretty down to earth and very grounded in the real world. I just dont need to convince myself of what I see unlike some have been doing. I trust my eyes and its clear. Point blank.
No wonder people at Ameriqual were so dead set on PS4. They bought into every rumor hook line and sinker. One of about 100 reasons why I quit there. I have no problem with people prefering the PS4, but when they start saying the X1 will charge you more money if more than a certain number of people watch a movie. Your absolutely right they lack common sense.

They are very close to one another. Depending on footage seen the opinion may vary, but the fact they are close ( regardless of opinion) is undeniable. Oh, and just for curiosity sake......How do you come to the conclusion that the "Majority" favor one over another ?
