except it could actually be just that. Imagine Sony reveals at 499, SeX is 599, and then there is Lockhart at 299. Any mom or dad is going to see the high end consoles, say they're too expensive and buy their kids the 299 one. Sony has no answer for that. MS would be smart to create that kind of device for a lot of reasons.
So why aren't they buying nintendos instead? The only way Lockheart is a true ace in the hole is if does everything the XSX does eexcept at 1080P. No diluting, no scaling features back.

Most people don't have the TV for 4K.
It was a quote by Xbox Twitter saying Dirt five runs the 120fps at 4K. Probably a mistake tbh. I would be shocked if true.
Most TV purchases from the last couple years onward are and will be 4K.
I originally thought that was a likely scenario but the gulf in GPU is too much for them to use the same SOC for both without a lot of waste, and since they're focusing on going with a lot of silicon at reasonable clock speeds, it's not like there's going to be a lot of failed chips. Lockhart could be something where everything but the GPU is the same, though, with a smaller form factor. I don't see how they could have anything but the GPU be different and still have the games work the same on both.
It could easily do that. Just at, you know, low presets. Like FUGLY low.

I didn't realize they moneyhatted Ghostwire, that's a shame.
I guess moneyhats and thirdparty timed exclusives are back on the the table again, maybe MS should do it with Elder Scrolls VI.
So does Ghostwire Tokyo, for me. I expected something totally different in style and tone. Like, X-files in Tokyo with samurai swords and seals?
I also thought it was going to be third person.
