You sound like a broken record.
You sound like a broken record.
No it's 2 years it says it at the end of the latest trailer.
It says at the bottom "also coming to PC, console exclusivity ends 2 years after launch"

Elder Scrolls 6 confirmed Xbox exclusive:
Microsoft’s acquisition was helped by an unofficial partnership stretching back to 2002. Bethesda develops its games with Xbox as its lead console platform. And by securing such a strong conveyor of new games, Spencer has managed to spread his bets beyond a small but storied cluster of top tier franchises in Halo, Gears of War and Forza. “There was a time when we didn’t have a lot of first-party franchises,” Spencer says, “and now we do. It’s not just four games that we’re kind of alternating every year. And if one of them doesn’t hit, then we’re not like, ‘Boy, what are we doing?’”
For that reason, exclusivity has been the elephant in the room ever since the buyout. It’s been confirmed that next year’s Starfield, arguably the biggest game of 2022, will be Xbox and PC only. Spencer says he sees the same for The Elder Scrolls VI. In his eyes, Xbox is the whole experience. Xbox Live. Game Pass. Cloud Gaming. Friends lists. Save states. “It’s not about punishing any other platform, like I fundamentally believe all of the platforms can continue to grow,” he says. “But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI."

But the thread isn't the problem its the trolling and counter trolling 24/7. People should be able to compare the systems without making asses out of themselves.
Wth are you smoking lolThat is f***ed up. Starfield was fair game but ES has been a very long running multiplatform series. Just buying the studio and saying Xbox only now is pretty s***ty.

Two things that stand out from that article to me:PS5 Had An Amazing First Year, But Exclusives Aren't Enough Anymore
Exclusive blockbusters aren't enough to rival Xbox Game Pass anymore.www.thegamer.com
I agree but hold the GP.
If I used GP this would be even more true.
This is what they need to do.
Will be HUGE being exclusive.

I agree with the UI part as it's terrible on PS5.Two things that stand out from that article to me:
"slick user interface on PS5"
Ah, no. It's a dumpster fire.
and
"Microsoft seems to value the variety in its catalogue even while its own exclusive library continues to struggle."
That is no longer the case.
That greater evil being mobile gaming.
Never expected ES6 to be on PS5 after the acquisition. I'd just play it on PC but I couldn't get into Skyrim so meh.
I didn't play one until Oblivion and absolutely loved it. Like 6-7 hour gaming sessions without moving loved it lol. But Skyrim was a snoozer so only put like 10 hours before noping out.Never played an ES game ever still... come at me.
But I'm glad I have the option to play on PC.
I didn't expect it either, I thought it made financial sense because MS paid so much for Zenimax and their value drops tremendously when you take other platforms off of the table but I figured MS just wouldn't do it. I was mad at first when MS did it, it just seemed like a typical Microsoft move, if they can't compete creatively they just end up buying everyone out but it seems like Zenimax wanted to be acquired and if it wasn't going to be Sony I'm glad it was MS and not Apple, Google or Netflix.Never expected ES6 to be on PS5 after the acquisition.
