Mystery as in custom power because its stronger then XBO(which isn't a mystery outside of here) or because consoles don't suffer from certain bottlenecks that plague the PC?
No I am not saying PS4 is better then a Nice Gaming PC but I am saying due to various factors(devs being one of them) That the PS4 and possibly the XBO will put out better looking games then the PC for the next couple years oh yes I am saying this.
 
Accepting that the PS4 is the lead platform for multiplats such as Alien: Isolation is like accepting that we have to wake up and go to work, school, or do whatever else we need to do. It's just a fact of life. Might as well just deal with it and move on. X1 gets the worst version, they won't accept it. PC gets the best version and they just want someone to listen. PS4 is the chosen platform.

The only way that will happen is if:

1) the game is an exclusive and therefore purely subjective (i.e. saying things from a subjective standpoint like "DriveClub is better looking than any PC game")
2) the artistic direction of said exclusive is stellar (again a subjective matter).

No other way is it going to happen IMHO. On a multiplat -- forget it (visit Digital Foundry) unless it's a terrible port. Also, I don't believe there will be a game that has a superior graphics engine that does more than the graphics engines designed with PCs in mind (i.e. CryEngine, UE4, etc.) IOW, there will never be a console game that does more technical things than a PC game that can be custom tailored to push the graphics boundaries. Raw power simply wins in this case.

Sorry I disagree heavily. Crysis 3 fully maxed still has no console equivalent in terms of character models and graphics IMO. Closest things are Ryse, infamous, and Metro Redux.

Getting pretty bad? I couldn't stand Gaf the few times i visited and i was more of a PS fan. The hardcore fans that treat the platform they don't prefer like the plague completely suck the fun out of it.

Drugs....don't do em. There already a few games that look better on pc than on these consoles, and will look better than anything on console for the next couple of years. By then, the next Dice or Crytek game on pc will look better than anything on these consoles....probably for the life of these consoles.

s***, just the fact that PCs can go past 1080p will have PCs always having the better image this gen, in any year this gen. That's right, ryse at over 1080p resolution will probably look better than anything these consoles will ever pump out. Save this page and mark my words.

The best looking exclusives will be found on consoles.

You're funny. You're using the SAME argument that you yourself bashed XB1 fans for using when they said ryse was looking better than anything on PS4, which you then started countering by saying "if" it was on ps4, it'd be better.





Now you're resorting to the same cherry picking that you talked against in the past. Be better than that. We all know that the best looking game on pc, regardless of whether or not it's a multiplat, will look AND perform better than the best looking console game. Period.

I made a stink because of not only them saying it looked the best but it looked better then anything PC included in 2013 which is BS I was surprised that none of you PC tools had anything to say about this.
