Assassin’s Creed IV: Avast ye lubbers, the Black Flag is officially flown

The more I play this game, the more it opens up, and the more I enjoy it.

To anyone who's only spent a few hours playing it and shelved it: Play it some more, seriously.

You can't tell the difference and neither can anyone else.
Keep telling yourself that.

Been playing the hell out of this game, it's easily better than AC3. Every time I put it on I tell myself I'm only going to play for an hour and before I know it 3 hours is up. Glad Ubisoft made up for some of the wrong turns they made with the last game.

Do we know what resolution this is running at on X1 yet?

Interesting, I was wondering if the patch I downloaded last night added in the 1080p upgrade. Sounds like I need to finally fire this game up!

I am enjoying this game a lot more than the previous AC titles. Maybe because it isn't so tedious like having to run around a huge city looking for symbols on walls and other filler-type challenges. Another thing, what's the deal with James Kidd? Does He/She have a gender issue?

I'm curious as to why we have heard nothing about the games performance on the X1. It's out so why hasn't anyone reviewed it?

I'm only posting that in response to the "nobody can tell" denialist chorus. Don't be upset about valid comparisons.

It's funny, when we saw similar differences in CoD games between ps3 and 360, xb fans claimed xb version stomped ps version.

Now, the claim is difference isn't noticeable.

I keep hearing Xbox is 900p but I can't find an official or reliable confirmation. Was this posted yet? Once again, beware of flaky youtube footage.

I haven't seen and official confirmation yet either, and all the ones I have seen that indicated it was 900p seemed to be saying so because the PS4 one was 900p before the patch. An easy connection to make, but it still is weird that it seems to be the only game we do not know the resolution of for X1 officially.
