I am at act 3 with about 200 hours already clocked. Deserving of GoTY & IMO one of the best game of all time. Bought the game before Christmas, but it took my a long time to even reach act 3, due to limited game time this year.

Think I have like 6 hours in it. lol.

Got distracted by Powerwash Simulator, then House Flipper, and now Snowrunner.

I love how after all the patches you can still glitch the game and get Halsin and Minthara in your party, they share a tent at camp since you're supposed to have one or the other.

I don't get when people act as if something that's optional is somehow insulting to them, if you don't like it just ignore it.
I believe that is the correct attitude. If you don't care for it ignore it.

I feel the same way about people who get mad when someone says they want a difficulty option in a souls like. They act as if their enjoyment if the game would be ruined because someone else was able to play the game differently and have some fun for a change with it too lol.

Souls games aren't hard. People who claim Souls games are too hard simply lack patience. That is all you need to be beat them. Plus you have co-op to make it super easy.

I don't care for souls like mainly for the stamina mechanic. That I have very little patience for.

You're right, I don't have the patience to learn a boss's moves (practically all day) and move pass said boss to move the story along. I don't want that kind of challenge. I know my limit and that's fine. I finished Elden Ring and cheesed a few bosses in the early days, but I'm OK with that too.

Takes literally a handful of minutes to learn a move set. A bit more for two stage bosses.

If you don't want that kind of challenge. Don't play it. Plenty of games with easy story mode difficulty for you to play

I'm not arguing. I know my limit on things. Like I said, I completed Elden Ring. The thing I enjoy the most of games like this is the exploration and the world. The difficult bosses are my least favorite.

I'll pick and choose when I'm in the mood to delve into that sort of thing. I just don't grab every souls game that's released.

I was talking more generally, not specifically at you.

People complain about difficulty because they lack patience and want to play it like God of War. When that don't work they cry for difficulty options. That won't even help them.

Souls games are definitely “hard” - but I do agree a portion of that difficulty comes from people lacking the patience to learn how to play them.

Definitely not “TOO” hard and defintely dont need difficulty settings.

Exactly. I am changing my game, no one else is affected.

I should wrote an article, "Forcing non conventally beauty standard is so tiring".

Btw, I do use Lae’zel”face mod. I am loving my Laezel. Will post later

I saw this was on sale on Playstation, then I checked and only 10% off (basically $7 lol).

I really want to try this, but not sure I am going to like it. I might wait and see if Steam has a better sale.

At a Game Developers Conference (GDC) panel today, Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke dropped something of a bombshell by revealing that the developer isn't planning to release any expansions or DLC for Baldur's Gate 3, nor a Baldur's Gate 4.

Instead, Vincke said at the panel, Larian plans to move away from Dungeons & Dragons entirely and do something new, leaving the IP in Wizards of the Coast's hands.

It's a bit of a surprise, considering the massive success of Baldur's Gate 3, with many fans assuming that a DLC or expansion would be on the way. Larian has released several major free patches that have added, among other things, a playable epilogue party.

I'm still on the fence about buying this. Saw a Youtube beginners guide and it was over an hour long. Hard to ignore all the hype though.

I lost interest mid way because the combat is kind of slow but the way you can go in on any encounter is unmatched .
