Patch comes out tomorrow! Stealth chopper nerfs and a BSV nerf. Kaledescope remake and aim assist fix.
Still impossible to tell if it is good or not. The changes are far more subtle than expected.
I have to say, I fear this isn't going to play any better.
I only played a few bot matches (no time). The aim felt a little better. Not very strong, but I felt with guns that kick a lot that I was able to control them a lot more. One thing I noticed too is that the game cranks up these insane null zones. Dial those out for some better control. I have no idea why companies think these make the game easier.
I watched Jackfrags with the BSV and it looks like they barely tuned it at all. Unless I'm missing something, it is still going to be top tier. Hopefully other guns come in.
The aesthetics of the new map is cool. I don't think it is going to turn into a favorite for anyone, but definitely an improvement.
Rumor has it that season 2 is bringing a smaller, cqb map.

The redone map is a ton better. It really makes you wonder what they were thinking with the original maps? I don't even get what they thought they were going for.
The SFAR was always good but suddenly it feels great. Maybe it is the aim assist and/or the fact that other things got nerfed, but it crushes now.
I don't know if this game will live another season or two, but I'm looking forward to season 2 for now.

The map still sucks, imo. I can't believe it took this long for one map and the changes aren't that significant.

I'm wondering if moving the date doesn't have something to do with it. If they don't by season 2, they are crazy.

There really does need to be more than 1 map, though.
Season 2 is sounding pretty meh.
The map is Infantry focused, meh. Only made for 64 players too.
The new Specialist soundS terrible.
Equipment is a concussion grenade. Really didn't need that.
The only bright spot is new weapons. We get the 2 new season guns and then like 6 or 7 portal weapons spread out over the season.

A new map with more shipping containers. Looks like Discarded and Orbital had a baby name Stranded.
