Destiny loot system

I haven't touched the game in a week. I try to do a strike, and half way through I get kicked. I won't be on it again until I can figure out how to open my NAT( it's moderate now) type. It's the only game I have with this problem. Massively frustrating to get kicked out of the game- not just disconnected- kicked to restart or orbit. Frickin' stupid.
Do you have any ports opened?
Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:
- Port 88 (UDP)
- Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
- Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
- Port 80 (TCP)
- Port 500 (UDP)
- UDP Port 3544 (UDP)
- UDP Port 4500 (UDP)
I think a lot of FPS players are feeling they should be able to max out their character as quickly in Destiny as they do in COD. This is simply not the case and it us driving a lot of animosity.
Unfortunately, Bungie didn't help matters. Compared to a game like WiW or Diablo the loot system is not only broken, it is shrouded in mystery. You cannot expect players to adapt to something different if it is not explained to them.
I feel the latest patch has flipped things in the opposite direction and now too much rare loot is dripping. Everyone I am seeing in the tower now is typically 24 plus where as a couple days ago it was only a few people. Could be circumstantial.
Having some randomness built into engrams isn't bad but people need to understand that you need to level up that guy in order to reduce the randomness. He also should level up more proportionally to your character. Mine is almost to level two even though I am at level 21. If his level should match the gear level to reduce randomness then he needs to scale better.

Been there. Helium is my one. I need over 100 in total. I tend to just grab them as I need them when the upgrades unlock.
What level are you now?
26, but I have a 6 more upgrade slots for my armor and I'll have enough marks from Monarch to upgrade my Leg/Gaunlets to Legendary armor..
Nice. Fully upgraded armour will get you to nearly 29. You need the raid armour to get beyond that. I'm 28 at the moment.
Yeah the loot system seems to have improved. Got a lot from the spirit bloom run last night. Also managed to get an exotic auto rifle (hard light) from legendary engram but I had already gotten it before so I just dismantled it.
Man does the Queen have her peons making only fuq'ing helms this week?! The last three Queen missions I played the other night I got the same sh!tty helm each time...
Yeah I tried it a few times last night and kept getting the same helmet.
There is only one type of each armour piece from her missions. So if you're hoping for a different helmet, it's not going to happen
I was hoping for something other than a helmet. I mean I wasn't expecting the boots off her feet or the gauntlets from her arms, but damn woman no more helms please...
All that port forwarding stuff is confusing. I've looked it up plenty, and I got into my router on my computer. I was screwing around and now I can't access my internet from my PC.
Anyway, my buddy is stopping by this weekend to help me. He's our site software developer and network specialist. He should be able to help me out, lol.
There is absolutely zero reason for the game to give you Valuable equipment that you character can't use. Especially since you can't share it with others. Idiotic design. Might as well give you nothing. Oh, what? I can still break it down for parts you say? Well that makes it better!
