Dragon Age: Inquisition - Nov. 18

Of all the dragons I found the level 19 dragon on Storm Coast the hardest one, but when used Sera became much easier, normally on dragons I used two Warriors and two mages against a dragon. Did not even need Thousand cuts, only used flask of lightning as well as all the archery abilities

Weekdays are the worst for me playing this game. I only get maybe two hours on a good day. That's nowhere near enough time to play this game and accomplish anything.

Some bugs starting to show themselves now that I have played for awhile. I'm certain some spell effects are not working as they should, and I've had several occasions now where I have not been able to switch characters without reloading. Thing that is probably the most irksome is Solas' refusal to use revival when assigned from the tactical mode. I can only get it to work when I take control of him and do it manually., which can be a big issue in a heated battle.

Haven't had any of those problems but I'm playing a mage so maybe that's why. I get the glitched dialogue wheel all the time though, where I can't select a reply without activating a menu first

Over 4 hours in a single session! Its been a long time since I play so long in a sitting for a game.

So I took the advice & leave Hinterland (at level 5), & venture into Storm coast, & hang there until I was level 6.

Then I tried the rescue soldier mission at the swampy are with undead. Their levels were to high, so I went back to the war room & now doing the Val Royaleux quest before I became too powerful for it.

I am loving the decision to fix enemy level instead of the easy way of enemies level ,matching yours.

This give you a real sense of danger, high level monster can creep on you when you venture to new area.

There was one time on stormy coast where I ventured to a fortress off the coast only to encountered Dragling which is way above my level...So I have to back off.

Now taking a break to have my dinner.

The hardest dragon for me was the last one in Emprise Du Lion.(If you didn't know there are 3 right next to each other in that area.) I went in with my usual crew of 3 warriors and a mage. Its tactic were not any different, he was just fighting back more on the ground than the others imo.

What does a master-crafter version have over a non-master-crafted version ?

Higher stats. For example if a piece of armor has a rating of 50-100 when normally crafted, If you can master craft it with materials that make it hit the max of 100, it will have a higher rating like 120 or so.

Its unfortunate that after the end game there is nothing of note to do. I thought bioware would have at least one quest dealing with the aftermath.

Also, I don't think I can fathom a second run at this game any time soon. I did almost EVERYTHING the first go around and it was a huge time sink. I'd like to do another run with a female mage or archer as a qunari or dwarf but another 60- 70 hours......

Ah that one, I got very lucky with the last dragon in Emprise Du Lion, normally it use to summon all these Dragonlings, but 4th-5th time or sow I tried Killing the dragon I managed to cripple it and then was all over with Thousand cuts and To the death (champion skill)

Who did you leave in the fade? I'm sorry but I wasn't about to leave Hawke in there. New Warden I just met, meet your maker!
And while we're on the topic of the fade, I'm curious as to what really happened when the 1st teveniter mages entered the golden city. The chantry always said the teventer mages corrupted the city by entering it. But after listening to Corphius say the city was empty and black when he got there... I don't know. DA4 better answer so questions.

Yeah same here, I thought about it, was a bit afraid that I had doomed all the Grey Wardens (that would be very bad if another blight was to arrive) by taking away the one that maybe could lead them, but would not sacrifice Hawke.

The combat of this game really makes me miss Dragon's Dogma... The Strategy screen is cool (Zod knows Dragon's Dogma couldve used something like that what with the suicidal NPC party members),but most of the time I just want to charge in FOR NARNIAAAAaaand I'm dead...

Hey guys do you think I would like DA if I didnt really like SkyRim? The last RPG I really got into was FFX.
I see alot of people nominated it for thier GOTY and its piqued my interest.

I like Skyrim, I just don't love it. I like to load a game and marvel at the landscape here and there but other than that, blah...

I can't stop playing DA. To me it's damn near the perfect mix of RPG and action gaming.

That's how I feel. Skyrim is nice, and while the freedom of it is nice, I just get bored. There's no real character development and the main quest is pretty forgettable. PC players love it for Mods, but even then, I need something with more substance.

DA really is the perfect mix of RPG and action. The story is interesting, the characters are vivid, and you never know what may happen to who. Bioware outdid themselves with this one.

I thought the side quests for Skyrim was it's saving grace, some real good ones in there, DA is sooo much more interesting to play, i love the story and sidequests and most characters.

Looking on metacritic the game is getting heaps of negative user reviews, I really don't know why there must be some trolling going on there and hate towards EA, the only negative thing i can think of is the lack of an in depth tactics screen like Origins, and maybe the load times but that's understandable for a big seamless world.

Have you read any of them ? they are lolz worthy. One person played for 1 hour and then gave it a 5/10:laugh:
Another gave it a 0 and seems to have not played it at all and keeps referring to a 3rd party
Another played only 2 hours then gave a condemning 0/10

Another said he loved it, found it amazing, but then gave it a 1/10 for glitches.
A fair few gave 0/10 because of corrupted save files.

excluding the time you spend to make your character....

My simple character took me 45 mins to make.

I kind of wish I spent more time with my character creation. Not sure why but I keep thinking I should have made her look like Jared Leto from Dallas Buyers Club:grin:

Tactical mode is pretty garbage, but it's not killing my enjoyment of the game. I do find it ridiculous that I either cant change the level of my tactical cursor or that I need to press R3 to go up ladders with it.

I'm actually thinking of making a new character. A clean slate. To become more familiar with each party member's abilites. So late in the game with my current it'd take too long learn about them now.

Why did nobody tell me you can get extra inventory space via war table perks ? I got 15 extra slots. I still run out of room constantly though

Cos loot is useless for the most part and getting an extra 15 slots isn't a great use of one of those points in my opinion.

Schematics are expensive.

Oh, another thing, where is the creature researcher in Sky Hold ?
