Even though I like the alleged design, I'll join in on the fun.

I absolutely care.
I've spent thousands of dollars on hiding wires, getting the top tier equipment, and setting up something which looks stunning, powerful, elegant, and streamlined.
The rumored Neo look says NONE OF THAT to me... and that's a shame. The Xbox One S blows it away, in terms of the things I mentioned, and I (frankly) don't want to have to look at a fugly sandwich pancake from the 80's... also not sure I could fit it behind anything to hide it... so yeah, that actually is an issue for me. I absolutely care about how things look; I spend enough g*d d*amned money on this stuff, it better look good.

Seriously, Sony, feed your engineers/designers. The subliminal leaking into their designs is painfully obvious.

I am sure IF MS sticks around the console making bizz...that the Scorpio(which seems likely to release after Neo) will have a successor B4 the Neo.

A Foxconn worker shared a sketch of the upcoming console PS4 Neo a few hours ago on Chinese forums A9VG. For those not familiar with it, Foxconn is the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer; it’s responsible for manufacturing devices like Sony’s PlayStation 3 & 4, Nintendo’s WiiU, Microsoft’s Xbox One, Apple’s iPad/iPhone/iPod and even Amazon’s Kindle.
After this leak, a couple of Neogaf users decided to create detailed mock-ups based on this sketch.

It's horrible. PS3 was horrible. PS4 is horrible. Sony designs horrible looking consoles. They've all be atrocious.
Depends on how successful Scorpio is. But I would assume that they would want to launch a true successor before Sony does.
PS3 fat was the most high tech looking console in gamings history.
Xbox One was atrocious,over sized(under-powered) and has a huge ass power brick.
Xbox 360 looked terrible and couldn't go RROD free until its Slim model was designed.
(oh it had a power brick as well)

Xbox One looks like a Harman Kardon designed piece. Sony are horrible aesthetic designers. It translates to their consoles. They're disasters aesthetic wise.

I bring up RROD because not only are the consoles ugly but they also aren't engineered to well.
Even now the XBO/S both use the terrible 360 Slim cooling solution that has a fan that blows up. LOL

I like the look of the PS4. Preferred it to the boxy look of the X1.
Not sure about the alleged Neo. It looks weird.
Blowing down would be bad tho because there is barely any room for air movement underneath a console.
