Is there even one game that you couldn't play at launch with curent gen console? I can think of only one Godfall on PS5.

I have no problem playing though....I have a PC.

No, but so what? I could play PC games on a low end laptop, but I'd rather have better hardware. People are stuck on this console exclusive mentality. Will I enjoy a game running at 4k 60fps less, because someone on older hardware can also enjoy it on lower settings? What's the difference?

To me it feels like this next generation of consoles is coming a year too early. The software to take advantage of the increase in performance just isn't here yet and most likely won't be for some time. Ohh well, at least I can have fun for a few hours marveling at the increased performance of some of the older titles I have.

Sony's console is fine. I'm not sure where a delay would have benefited the console from what is already being done.

The PS4 was 40% more powerful than the Xbox One, and you barely saw a difference there. Series X is 17% more powerful than the PS5 -- closer than ANY direct competing console ever. Forget what we don't even know about the PS5 GPU other than the fact that it's a custom RDNA 2 GPU, the main point to take from this is the fact that this is a very small gap with Microsoft trying to make the best of it by hyping it through the roof as if you were going to see N64 to PS3 levels of performance. But this is why fanboys need to believe that that performance is somehow hidden somewhere in between the seams.

The reality of it is, that performance will be barely noticeable and was the very reason Sony didn't gamble on it to begin with but rather the SSD, instead.

I think you confuse their platform with Microsoft or just their strategy in general.

I'm not sure how long you have been gaming but power was never the deciding factor for a PlayStation platform. Sure, Sony goes after the muscle because, as an electronics competitor, everything they do after that will revolve around the muscle in their console, and they've AWAYS played the game that way. The deciding factor has always been their games since the very beginning, and you are still witnessing that up to this very moment.

Moreover, from a power perspective, the Series X isn't as powerful as it is being made out to be when compared to Sony's system. It is the smallest in history. So what you are looking for, you going to find yourself disappointed unless you are ready to nitpick.
