PS5 is big, maybe compensating for something.
Via xCloud streaming in Game Pass, not to develop games for PlayStation.Soooo Microsoft wants Halo on Sony's system. Interesting... Makes me think about those acquisitions now.

He did not say that at all...
Halo Reeeeaach much?
Actually he did. Why else would he care about having a chat with them about it? It seems he's trying to Reeeeeeeaach some more users not on the other platforms.

technically he did and didn’t, indirectly but not exactly to the point where anyone can quote him verbatim stating it exactly as clear evidence or receipts shown: he wants gamer to have access no matter the device.
Sony, Nintendo and google will all say no, but that won’t stop them, or others, once there’s a client app that allows use via any web browser, which almost any internet capable device. It’s like playing my switch or ps4 games on my Xbox through it’s hdmi pass through in order to quickly jump between devices.

Yeah I saw that too, I hate when I see that in games lol. It does look nice and that load from the select screen to the game was basically back to cartridge speeds. It does look good. But i couldn't help noticing the two players with identical movements during the warmups. Lol

If you believe Spencer it's not about selling hardware it's about subs, which really doesn't make sense unless you plan on putting that service on as many platforms as possible otherwise hardware sales will drive your sub numbers. If Sony allowed GP on PS5 (which they wouldn't) what would be in it for them? Most PlayStation owners don't care about Halo or Gears, those that do own both consoles already, it really doesn't benefit Sony to even entertain the thought of GP on PS5 especially since a large percentage of GP games are OG xbox and 360 games which wouldn't work on their platform anyway and the rest are old games you've probably already played if you were interested.Let us take this line of logic to the conclusion.
Sony allows Microsoft to put GamePass on PS5.
Microsoft sells all its first party games on GamePass but those first party games on the XBOX consoles are far cheaper than the offerings they are offering on the PS5. There is no reason to believe Microsoft would price all their exclusives the same on Xbox GamePass vs a hypothetical PS5 GamePass. Why? Because then there would be no reason to buy it on Xbox at all/ buy the console...(this coincidentally is the fundamental issue with people thinking future Bethesda Games are going to appear on the PS5....they won't but that is a different conversation.)
Microsoft wins the above scenario because they are making more money and at the same time charging PS players more.
Vs
Microsoft keeps all its main exclusive games on PC/Xbox GamePass and makes more money in the long run due to people buying the console/investing in the PC/Xbox ecosystem because of said exclusives.
Either way Microsoft makes money. Now....out of those 2 scenarios where does the benefit to Sony fall into play?
