You meant the dual sense? They ai't game breaking & many people turn off controller feedback anyway,
This reminds me of the pressure sensitive face buttons on the DualShock 2 compared to the DualShock 1. If the game uses and relies on the feature, there is no way to use a digital button to compensate for the lack of a pressure sensitive button on the dated controller. In thr DualSense's case, if the game relies on the new designed light bar, there is no way to use the old light bar to compensate for this; one of the main reasons is it's not even in the same place anymore, let alone the pattern design that absolutely has to be tracked. And this is without counting the other features the controller has adopted.

When your dated controller is practically identical to your last controller aside from a share button, it besomes incredibly easy to allow thag controller to be supported alongside your next-gen controller, because it was nothing in it to begin with. None of PlayStation's controllers have ever been the same in this regard. New input features have always been added with every generation.

The X1X was supposed to get Dolby Vision support for the UHD Blu-Ray app in 2018, but never did. Looks like it's not there on Series X either. Only Dolby Vision for streaming apps have ever been supported.

unless you’re getting it for your kid and they play on a 1080p screen
And don't care about RT

I can see buying a XSS in a few years for my guesthouse when next gen library is big enough to warrant changing my One X out for it in the guesthouse... Still... I'd lose kinect.. honestly, I don't see any reason to buy a XS if you already have One X at this point.

Wait, you have a guest house, as in a house just for guests.

Damn, I must be the poorest guy here, I need a gofundme & all you rich bastards must donate to me so I can get a next-gen console.

No way I would do a guest house. Too much cleaning. It’s bad enough we have to clean our own house and our cabin. Ain’t nobody got time for that s***.

I have a simpler reason. I am not rich.

Nothing fancy, not sure if I use the correct term in english?
It's about 40m² with small separate bedroom, toilet with shower, pentry and a small fridge.
Mainly for me to game or guests to sleep in.

Like I said, nothing fancy;

Simple. Get a new receiver with HDMI and Atmos. (or even used at this point)

Yeah, but honestly I do most of my gaming with headphones anyway. I really don't need a new receiver.

I did find that my TV has an optical out, so I can basically just run everything through there, but that still leaves me without a mic and headset.

What gets me most is I'll end up having to replace my $200+ pair of Astros for no reason other than they will need to be USB or something else.

Suddenly a $500 console is running a lot more :)
