Can you install more than one expansion card at once?
Nope, there’s only one slot in the back :( looks like there’s room enough for two but there may have been a cooling/price issue....I’d love to see an adapter that would allow two or more to connect via a mini hub or something, and just tuck it away behind or along side the console itself (like I do with my one x and it’s 4tb HDD). One can dream *stares away at the full moon outside the window*

So can you have your 1tb SSD expansion as well as an external USB storage running too? You'd have to be think that's plenty of room for most people.

3tf total space seems like the soft spot. Having to change cards isn't ideal.
Stop pointlessly filling up your SSD then.

Personally, i'll be fine with 350GB.only ever have 2 to 4 long term games installed like a FIFA, COD or Battlefield, Forza. Then 1 or 3 shorter term single player games like an AC Valhalla.

No idea why people are playing 15 games at once.

Stop pointlessly telling me how many games to install while you "personally" only ever 5 to 10 games installed (which could amount to a full standard ssd on these consoles).

Never told you how many to install.

How does 3 to 7 = 5 to 10? Lol.

So getting up and swapping isn't ideal?

I find it awesome as if I ever need more than the 2TB
I currently have (1TB internal+1TB Storage card)
I can buy more cards.

Swapping memory cards was cool to do in the 90's and early 2000's. It's 2021, I like to have all of my gaming stuff at my fingertips.

Some people don't have fast network connections or have caps and would rather just have their stuff on demand rather then keep re-downloading things when they want to play them and that's totally understandable.

Comcast is one of the biggest providers in the USA and they have 1.2 TB cap...in 2021. LOL. Most of the ISP's are cable providers who have caps because they are losing their CATV business to streaming media so they institute caps to make that harder to do or charge extra to have unlimited. It's a garbage practice.

Basically by this fall I'll have:
BF6
Halo
COD (plus Warzone)
Destiny 2
Plus whatever SP game I'm working on

That's it, that's probably already too much for my XSX storage. I'm basically almost full without BF or Halo being out yet.

Luckily my place has promos now and then so I can get 500 mbps unlimited bandwith for the past few years for a good price. I don't think I can ever go back to caps.

Weird. Where I am at, the biggest providers are Time Warner, Spectrum, AT&T, TDS, Xfinity and Centurylink. No data cap options. So most of ours have unlimited. I guess Wisconsin is "special" :)

It’s hard not to look over the fence and feel a few pangs of jealousy; while PlayStation has a comparatively loaded slate of upcoming software, Microsoft is making big moves that threaten to disrupt the status quo. We’ve seen it complete its acquisition of Bethesda, effectively dwarfing Sony’s first-party operations, while its Game Pass initiative – regardless of financial viability – is making games like Returnal look like daylight robbery in comparison. PS Plus, to Sony’s credit, is outstanding value right now – but as time moves forward, PlayStation is going to need to react.

Frankly, the Bethesda thing has changed the game, and while we don’t expect Sony to roll over and let its tummy be tickled, it’s going to need to invest. The strength of the Japanese giant’s first-party studios is not up for debate, and its pipeline continues to be among the best in the industry, but with Japan Studio shut down, Media Molecule seemingly tethered to the largely unpopular Dreams, and Sony San Diego making MLB The Show 21 for multiple platforms – the formerly unstoppable PlayStation Studios is beginning to look a little light
