Not really. I mean a PC is variable. PC is always 3rd if you have a meh PC.Good to see the battle for 2nd position for best performance is still strong as ever between X-SeX & PS5.

That is dependent on the specs and a $399 PC is laughably bad in comparison.Good to see the battle for 2nd position for best performance is still strong as ever between X-SeX & PS5.
Are you lost????MS said they can do what? You can't claim to do it aswell when you don't actually know what it is they are saying. Lol. Hence the current discussion. Not too mention that idf SSDs lead to an evolution of world design/creation not possible on old HDDs then you would have to create two different worlds to function on both. That isn't happening.

When it comes to streaming assets etc that 2 second advantage is a big deal when it comes to what you see on screen, we'll have to wait until games are built around that though. If you are talking slightly faster load times I'm assuming you are meaning between PS5 and Series X/S because it's a HUGE improvement over the HDD's of last gen.The SSD is overselling what is essensually slightly faster load times. People who think its the 2nd coming of S club 7 need to adjust their expectation.
Kind of where I've gotten. Happy I purchased Yakuza LAD as it's become one of my top 5 games of last gen however the backlog is so enormous, hard to justify many new purchases. I'm even going to wait on RE8 to go on sale.I'm in this weird space with the new consoles and PC.
The only games I have on my PS5 is Astrobot and Last of Us 2.
On my Series X I'm pushing through AC: Vahalla, MLB the show and whatever shows up on game-pass.
On PC I'm juggling more games than I ever have between steam sales, Stardew Valley, Cold Steel 4 and PC game-pass.
My point being I don't ever remember in my gaming history having soooo much to play at once. I still haven't gotten to Miles Morales, Yakuza like a dragon, Hitman 3 or Godfall yet as I can't justify the purchases with my backlog. I feel like if I could just get through TLOU2 and Vahalla, my schedule would open up but both those games are so freaking long.
Or are just more talented in generalDon't see it changing anytime soon. Just going to keep exchanging blows because of how close they are this gen.
See exclusives for where their real potential power lies moreso for the PS5 because developers are able to access lower level API.

I mean I don't know and won't pretend to know which hardware is ultimately theoretically better.Lethal combo.

But I always expected Sony to have better looking games.
I think its too early to say. Good early returns for PS5. But U also think PS5 is the lead console. All I know is the XSX is theoretically more powerful on paper with more CU's but from the multiplatforms we've seen so far, it seems like the PS5 is able to balance it out with higher clock speeds and its I/O system/efficiencies.
I like to think of it like the XSX was designed as a brute force/power type of console while the PS5 is more like an extremely efficient console where there's less bottlenecks.

Yeah too many gamers talk about PC as if it's one uniformed set of specs with no variation when it's the exact opposite of that. The potential is there to be first in power but it doesn't mean most people own a PC like that. Not really. I mean a PC is variable. PC is always 3rd if you have a meh PC.

It seems like it to me because the Xbox versions always have a weird quirk or bug that the Playstation versions don't.Not sure about if PS5 is the lead console or not.
Or you could just get back on track and discuss the actual point the discussion is about. But I doubt you will. Here, you need this.....

Then they get patched up post launch.
It would shock me if the PS5 isn't the lead platform. Why wouldn't it be? 100 million + consoles sold last gen and off to a historical start so far this gen.I don't think so. Most of the multiplatforms are also on PC so if anything it would be that or the Xbox consoles as the leading platform maybe?
Maybe the PS5 is just easier to develop for, like that video where the dev ported his code over and it just ran first try. Sony's done a great job at that end.
Been there done that already. Catch up man.Or you could just get back on track and discuss the actual point the discussion is about. But I doubt you will.

FixedI like to think of it like the XSX was designed as a brute force/power type of console while the PS5 is more like an extremely efficient console where there's less bottlenecks and I'd love to have a ps5 shoved up my rectum.
Maybe. I’ve read things about both being easy to get things up and running.I am just thinking that it would be easier to port over to the PS5 than the other way around.
Games start on PC so devs are finding the port to Xbox to probably be the easiest.Maybe. I’ve read things about both being easy to get things up and running.
I’ve mainly just read devs not pleased with the XSS. Nothing like that about the X.
