The nextgen patch won't get me to redownload this game. If it wasn't for the Star Wars theme this game would have been regarded as a nice try at the Souls formula that is in need of a lot more polish and imagination. It fails with a lackluster story, a lightsaber that acts like a glowing bat, level design that is not at all that imaginative and clunky controls that is just criminal for a game that requires precision.
Ryse is a never was type of game that gets defended by the most desperate,die hard plastic lovers.
Jedi FO is a successful,widely loved game that is getting a sequel.

Glad to see Xbox doing so well. Their Starfield trailer is now over 10 million views in a week. Probably gonna be a huge hit next year.
They have nothing to gain, only to lose. Until they start to really lose market share why would they go to the trouble?

Ryse looks great.
Gameplay was basic but it had potential. End of the day's its gameplay worked.
Jedi was stiff and very rough
3 years in a row of them not going and interest in E3 in general has been on the decline. Sony probably would rather do their own events. Microsoft and Nintendo could have had those shows anytime and nobody else could be bothered to do more than half ass show up.

Ryse felt like the evolution of the old school arcade beat em up. It was very linear, short, and graphically impressive, but with simple but fun gameplay mechanics. I had fun with it, but it definitely didn't have the depth of a AAA release.
