NXGamer's analysis of Metro. Echoes basically that PS5 has smoothest performance out of all next gen consoles. XSX slightly higher res in some parts 8-12% delta fluctuation and he gives example XSX 1620p, PS5 1512P. But often times they can be the same count (res wise), 1620p is the example he gave.



PS5 and XSX DRS is 1080p-4k, same range.

XSS is 540p-1080p.

Their choice on the XSS is dumb. Why add fantastic RT that is supposed to make the game better visually but prioritise FPS instead of visual quality in what is really a slow paced shooter. The XSS should have had a 30FPS fidelity mode.

DF says this regarding 30 fps:

"That said, a 30fps quality mode may have been useful, though reduced refresh rates may have implications for the way that the RT global illumination system accumulates data over time."
