Shadow of the Tomb Raider NXGamer Analysis

Seems like there are new SDK's out on the PS side, 120hz support in BC mode for Warzone recently and now Shadow of the Tomb Raider gets an update where NXGamer considers the PS5 bests the XSX in this BC title.

You should really piss them off and tell them their preferred console can't even give them the optimal experience unless it's connected to the internet lol. I'm just messing around I really don't care to be honest, I hope those that want to play the videogame equivalent of a sleeping pill have a great time. You shouldn't even bring up that it's a port of a year old PC game and that it's about as fun as watching paint dry, the point is that it's something new from Microsoft (new to them that is as long as they didn't play it on PC) and they've waited a looong time to be able to say that. :p
Dude you try way to hard to troll here in the video game sections.

Hey at least we finally have an actual real world demonstration of the power of the Cloud. Lol. It only took, what, five years or so?

I’ve never been a flight sim fan. But this game looks so good. I’m gonna try it.

I am so dissappointed not to find a next gen console in market, & have to miss the chance to play upgrade version of last gen games.

Who cares anymore, the graphics contest is over with the release of flight simulator, you lost lol

You cared enough to reply 😜

Flight Sim looks good for a simulator where you're looking at assets that are hundreds of thousands km's away to hide its flaws. It's a graphical showpiece for the Xbox but hardly a game to rule them all. Very premature to name it the king when it's at 1440p, 30fps, no raytracing or real time reflections, low poly textures on ground, buildings, trees. Having said that, what it is doing with the Cloud (finally!) is technically impressive so kudos for that.

In game, on the ground:

You have to pay for that, no? Says premium deluxe airport.
Yes. But it's there.

I don't think anyone was expecting the entire earth to be recreated in 4K textures and 1:1. And while it doesn't have Ray Tracing yet in the Xbox version (PC does), it still has realtime reflections.

How much flying time do you have in?

It's there but you have to pay for it. With this pay for a better experience microtransaction system, it's kind of hypocritical of Xbox fans to criticize how other developers charge for their enhancements and DLC, agreed?

Well yeah, like I said, it has its flaws but it does its job well as a flight simulator game. It looks great and that's why Asobo had to optimize it to run at those parameters that DF pointed out to us.

What an absolute s***show.

Interested to see how DF, NxGamer analyze these SSD replacements and how it compares to the default SSD.

Sounds like official support is still at least half a year away so maybe 2022? By then, prices probably go down a little.

Its almost like its a beta

There is a trend forming here...

First next gen looking Xbox exclusive launched after 9 months - "graphics contests are over!"

Replacement M.2 SSD's just starting in beta - "what a s*** show!"

Having said that, I would have thought Sony could have the replacement SSD thing ironed out for launch like the PS4 but I guess the fact it's a new tech has caused some issues.

Ascent looks like the first XBOX (console exclusive) hit. It got rave reviews so far expect Sony shill IGN. Thanks Gamepass

IGN gave it a 7 which is higher than the metacritic average

15 reviews so far at 64. Let's see if it improves as more reviews pour in.

Surely they’ve had plenty of time to test some and at least tell you what particular SSD’s at least work. Not to give you a list of specs and say go spend $250 + and if it doesn’t work it’s nothing to do with us. I’m sorry but that’s just not good enough.

I agree but its also obvious that nobody should do that since they are being transparent enough about how things may or may not work.
