I remember when polls were taken for years and years here and on other forums. They asked what the priority was, graphics or performance. Performance won hands down every time, for everyone. Suddenly, graphics are more important than performance. 🥴

And now Game Pass = End of Gaming as we know it.
Well performance doesn't mean 60 FPS. I'd vote performance aswell, but because stable framerates are important.

While I agree, it really came down to people voting 60 > 30. Stable of course. This is why I think it's great to have a choice between performance mode and resolution.

For me, I tend to take the resolution option, such as in Forza Horizon 4 for example. When I start Ghost of Tsushima on Friday, I will be in resolution mode.

Honestly, I never really see a difference between 30 and 60. I've been stong advocate for sims must be 60 FPS, but AC: C Has been great at 30FPS.

What game is too robust for cloud streaming?

Ok, certain games HAVE TO be ran at a certain fps in addition to their resolutions without skipping a beat. Those games would be for the HMDs. Unless they get this under control, nothing will ever be fully cloud based.

Like what game specifically.

There she is.

Anyway, has Sony ever done anything wrong?
I should probably ask you the same thing in a reverse effect. After all, you are the sensitive one pounding on tables when you're not getting your way. Put your Pull Ups on and stop acting like a spoiled little baby.

I bet you wouldn’t call me a spoiled little baby to my face. Bet you glad you can hide behind that keyboard.

Anyways XBox has done some things wrong in my eyes. I had a RROD 360, the 360 controller would get stick drift pretty quickly I would have to buy a new controller every year, they dropped the ball on the XB One launch to the point I didn’t go next gen till One S hit, and they dropped the ball this generation on exclusives, and I’ve never cared for the Dashboard and MS Store. Those are off the top of my head.

Sooo, has Sony ever done anything wrong?

To be fair, I can't think of much that Playstation has done wrong. The PS3 price. Complete removal of rumble. Slow first party games.

I went through 3 RROD 360 consoles, I had an Xbox One OG go bad only showing purple lines on the screen, I was pissed they forced Kinect at the start of this gen, I wasn't excited when they canceled Fable Legends and closed out Lionhead, the store has always been laggy (as is the PSN Store), I don't like that they dumped the IR for Xbox Series X, Aaron Greenberg is a douchebag.....of the top of my head.

LOL!

They have medicine and counceling for things like that, y'know. You should probably check into it.

As far as everything else, that sounds unfortunate. I guess better luck next time.

They were against cross play "because of the kids" with other consoles (but it was ok for PC  Jim Ryan). They wanted to do remasters instead of backwards compatibility and wondered why people even wanted to play old games (Jim Ryan). Yes, the removal of rumble. The dismal controller battery life, which is problem partially because of them putting in a cheap battery as well as forcing the light bar on the controller. YLOD. Stick drift on DS4. Buying 3rd party timed exclusives and DLC for long term.

MS should allow F2P games to work without requiring Gold, like Sony does.

What is YLOD?

In addition to this, certain games are too robust to be ran in the cloud. So GP is not the be all end all.

Um, gamepass games are not run in the cloud, you download and install the games you want to play. Xcloud is the streaming variant, while gamepass is like EA access except don't tell valliance because it's just a waste of time. I'm not sure correcting obvious factual errors for you is a productive use of my time either, given that you use opinions to make up your facts.

So once again, you're asking people to meet a standard you either refuse or are just incapable of meeting. And here I am, without my shocked face.

All competitors are doing this, though, even Nintendo. At some point, i expect this to be the standard way of gaming. So i think that is a great thing for consumers. In fact, we are gradually moving towards this, which explains why both competitors even have digital only consoles.

Did i disappoint you? Maybe you should lower your expectations next time. I didn't twist his arm nor ask, he folded or played himself into his own corner. Personally, i could have cared less, what he said. I'm not the one losing sleep over it. Apparently, he......or yourself, feel the need to fight that good fight, i guess to prove something. I'm not interested. :)
