I bet when its discovered that the ps4 version is using listen servers(essentially p2p) for its mp, we will see a definite favor for the X1 version.
Isn't Activision providing the dedicated servers for the PS4 version?

The only difference in the reviews is whether one looks better than the other, most of them have stated that the X1 has a more stable framerate, which is to be expected as it is running at a lower framerate.Because there are actually more sources stating the opposite AND the best version(pc) also suffers from fps issues.
Are you saying because a couple sources ( which is still less then the one's saying the opposite) say the XBO has a better fps its better then the PS4 version and the pc version as both of them share the same issues?
Well a mixture of dedi's and listen servers, what you get is determined by what would give you the best 'experience'PS4 version uses dedicated servers.

I bet the ps4 is the "listen server" end of the " hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers". When the ps4 version has host migration, server side cheaters, and terrible lag, we will see about the dedicated servers on ps4 remark.PS4 version uses dedicated servers.
Stop reading misterx's blog. One has to wonder if the PS4 version was forced 1080p due to the inferior upscaling capabilities of the PS4...
IGN review said the PS4 res difference is def noticeable. Also I still have only heard the SP is smoother on XB1 nothing about how the mp runs.
You mean like real dedicated servers? That's a good problem to have.If "some problems" is "only a few momentary issues", that will be getting patched eventually, I'd be glad to take the version with 2.25x the resolution.
Its obvious the xbox version is suffering from some problems.
Do any of you even read the links being posted to this thread? You mean like real dedicated servers? That's a good problem to have.
I watched the IGN comparison (not the best way to judge fidelity) but the PS4 version was slightly sharper and has richer color.
Why would Polygon look silly when Giant bomb backed up their clames....the ps4 has framerate issues. Enough that apparently it needs a patch....that is rumored...you know the rumered cure all patch.Stop reading misterx's blog.

"Only a few momentary issues, no frequent or persistent framerate problems."
Polygon left looking rather silly right now.
Also that giantbomb link where PS4 version is getting patched, apparently.
Because the review played up "Only a few momentary issues, no frequent or persistent framerate problems." as some significant and frequent framerate drops, while claiming they couldn't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p.Why would Polygon look silly when Giant bomb backed up their clames....the ps4 has framerate issues. "Activision says that all platforms will use a hybrid of dedicated servers and peer-to-peer matchmaking, which should eliminate many of the lag issues we've seen in the past. If all goes well, the days of being tossed into a game hosted by someone 2,000 miles away on a dial-up connection will be behind us."
really...cause before all this sh1t went down most people liked Polygon.Because the review played up "Only a few momentary issues, no frequent or persistent framerate problems." as some significant and frequent framerate drops, while claiming they couldn't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p.
Not the most reliable of reviewers, apparently.
IGN said GTAIV for the ps3 looked better than the 360 version. Then it was revealed that GTAIV 360 runs at a higher resolution than GTAIV ps3.IGN is not the best place either.
dude...I remember back in the day on teamxbox people used to argue that 720p looked better while moving....and there would be big threads about it....how fukin silly that seems now.....or does it..lol.IGN said GTAIV for the ps3 looked better than the 360 version. Except Poly is not the only place that has said PS4 has framerate issues. You have multiple places saying there is issues and one who is saying it is momentary and not frequent or persistant..and you choose only to listen to the one place saying that?Stop reading misterx's blog.

2.25x resolution is "a little" better, interesting. Jaggies and mosaic patterns happen often at 720p, not so much 1080p. Have you actually watched the BF4 60 FPS 2gb footage files? Or are you one of those people who think there's "no benefit" to actually seeing a game in motion? They also aren't the only reviewers to say they couldn't tell the differance.........did you see the amount of fukin jaggies on the ps4 version.
the game sux....ps4 version has framerate issues......the ps4 version looks "a little" better side by side. get the fuk over it.
Yes it has issues which will apparently be patched. Are they as often or large as the review claimed? No. It was exaggerated while resolution was called irrelevant.Except Poly is not the only place that has said PS4 has framerate issues. I'm one of those people that seen jaggies on the ps4 version...are you telling me I didn't2.25x resolution is "a little" better, interesting. Jaggies and mosaic patterns happen often at 720p, not so much 1080p.

Side by side it sure doesn't look like 2.25x better. numbers or not, the visuals are not corroborating the numbers differences. Theres a bigger difference between X1 and PS4 in res on COD:G yet visually the difference is much smaller than that of BF4 for X1 and PS3, whose resolution gap is smaller.2.25x resolution is "a little" better, interesting. Wait for the 60 fps raw footage, or you know, playing it in person.Side by side it sure doesn't look like 2.25x better. numbers or not, the visuals are not corroborating the numbers differences. If anything, its a testimony to the fact that higher resolution doesn't automatically mean better. Ryse runs at 900p and is arguably the best looking next-gen title for either next gen console.dude...I remember back in the day on teamxbox people used to argue that 720p looked better while moving....and there would be big threads about it....how fukin silly that seems now.....or does it..lol.
But Ign says it's fine! so it's nothing!Side by side it sure doesn't look like 2.25x better. numbers or not, the visuals are not corroborating the numbers differences. Ryse cutscenes look nice, in the way a non-playable tech demo looks nice. Actual gameplay is not impressive to me compared to actual KZ gameplay, which manages to run at 60-30 as well.If anything, its a testimony to the fact that higher resolution doesn't automatically mean better. Ryse runs at 900p and is arguably the best looking next-gen title for either next gen console.
