To be fair gamers ar too critical. They dont understand alpha or pre alpha. If devs are excited about their product they show journalist behind closed doors. The problem is CGI trailers go overboard witb textures lighting and animation you woukd never see in gameplay.

Fallout is an exception and not the rule. It was never a masterpice graphically.

Let's wait and see how they do with Recore, Crackdown, Scalebound, and Quantum, in the very near future.

I'm guessing at least 3/4 are hits (80+ average score).

From the interview with Spencer, Moore and Blackley posted elsewhere in the forum, according to Phil Spencer, the game is currently playable (in as much as he said "We're playing it."). Hopefully we some gameplay at Gamescon (or, you know, sooner wouldn't be unwanted).

Who knows if ReCore will actually be good but i think it's great that Microsoft is investing in new IPs like they said they would. The future looks good.

Very odd. The CG trailer at E3 and gameplay reveal at GC would have made a lot of sense. If this is to release Spring 2016...i wonder when they'll show it off. Maybe during Video Game Awards? If not, i really don't see it releasing Spring 2016, which is fine. I hope this is a big AAA game and they should take the time needed for it.

Honestly, I didn't think we see Recore at Gamescon considering it was only announced a little over a month ago. Hell, we've still seen no Crackdown gameplay and that was announced over a year ago.

Yeah but that Spring release date is not gonna happen. Unless the gameplay is revealed out of the blue via a trailer or IGN First or maybe the Videogame Awards, but i doubt that. The things we now know are that it's a third person action adventure, sandstorms will change the world and it's AAA. I really hope MS gives them the time they need to make this one special.

Historically, MS first party titles are solid, so I have no doubt.

This bums me out even more that it won't be at gamescon lol. I like the dudes enthusiasm. You can sense it in his writing.

I like the concept and the team behind the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it pushes to the Summer.
