The Order: 1886 screenshots and previews

Why not? There's like 7 Titanfall threads.

Titanfall needs 7 threads to contain all its epicness.

From the videos I've seen today, I'm still quite intrigued on how the game is going to be like in the final build. I actually don't mind the 21:9 aspect ratio.

I think the ratio looks cool.

In this game, you'll also be fighting monsters of some kind? Vampires?

The "half-breeds" whoever they are. Supposed to have split off with the humans some time ago.

Did anyone post the new trailer? if not here it is, I know the new gameplay videos were already posted but the trailer is different.

I haven;t seen it in here.

It seems like I am the only one looking forward to this game. I think it looks great -except for the corridor aspect mentioned earlier. Graphically pretty. Atmosphere seems to be spot on. Setting is awesome. Gameplay seems fine to me. Looking forward to seeing more

I agree and I don't think people should jump to conclusions about it being a narrow corridor shooter based on a minute or so of footage. I love the art style, the setting and atmosphere, as long as the gameplay feels right it looks like the kind of game I'd really enjoy. I won't lie I'm not excited about QTE's but as long as that's not a huge percentage of the gameplay I can deal with it.

Game looks fantastic!
So they are like Demon Hunters who have been fighting supernatural forces since time immemorial?

I'm guessing that since it is the late 1800's that you not only fight werewolves, vampires, etc but also maybe human elements aligned with the monsters.
Sounds almost like an Underworld set in the 1800's but you are on the human side.

Sounds awesome! :bang:

One thing I cannot stand about many game developer is trying to make some of their gameplay element like its revolutionery or something.

Recently, I heard something about reinvented QTE from them, & one developer make it sound like the next best thing since Taylor Swift. I looked at the gameplay video, & its the same Sh!t. At least TR did it better as the QTE ender are usually triggered by you, & you know when you are going to trigger one. Same with Dishonored, if you call that QTE (when you choose choke or kill when near enemy back)

The one in Order is just typical QTE (from what I seen at least).

Having said that, the game does looks good, & can even surpass Ryse with cryengine!.

Imagine how it can looks even better, if they use a high end engine like Cryengine!

They're different cause you have multiple choices. Usually ( I do not recall a game different from this) you have a set button, set action, set consequence for a QTE.

Multiple choices in Quick Time event. omg, OMG!!!.

Gentlemen, next gen QTE is here. Only on PS4.

This could be the start of something new, guys... QTERPG's!

Different QTE actions gives you different storyline consequences!

The Walking Dead?

I just meant the multiple choice QTE stuff is vaguely similar.

Has there been any other mentioning of the enemy types for this game? It looks like a werewolf at the end of the clip, but I haven't read too much on that aspect.

There seems to be a mix of human rebels and half-breed creatures. Not sure how many creatures there are but wolves seem to be one.

I'm going to predict one of two things is going to happen with this game.

  1. It's going to get delayed into next year.
  2. It's going to release on time and be very pretty, but not much else.

I saw this on Neogaf, a tweet from one of the RAD guys says the main characters in the game are made of over 100k polys each, that's insane.

Aw yeah, you can really tell how much detail they've put into the main characters.

That letterboxing kills vertical visibility, and I'd rather have a full 16:9 beautiful image instead of one cropped by letterboxing. I believe the real reason for it is to reduce the rendering time by cutting out large numbers of pixels. And the motion blur technique gives me a headache. It's just way too blurry. I want to be interested, but they need to fix those two graphics problems.
