Those types of tweets need to stop, people get hyped then nothing happens
No need to temper expectations anymore. It's OK for people who game on Xbox to be hyped.

One of the reasons my expectations are no longer tempered is due to leaks originating from the developer camp. The features, tools and leveraging cloud compute will be more important to game innovation than hardware power. Only question I had was whether Microsoft would be willing to share some or all of what's going on behind the scenes (when some of these games are a long ways out) or if they'd lean on Halo hype and hold back. Seems more and more like they're going to pull back the curtain.
Because they spent all their time writing more scripts to create an even worse experience. Why does the game engine footage look exactly like EA’s current gen sports games‘ in engine footage?
They are EA sport games, tempered expectations are very neccessary. No need to temper expectations anymore. It's OK for people who game on Xbox to be hyped.

Alot.
Make it more sim like it was before.
Make the leagues actually representative of motorsport championships.
Get rid of all the dumb, out of place vehicles.
Simplify the lobby menus to.
Add a license and penalty system.
Add pit crews and animation.
Blance the PI system.
Make the campaign more representative of motorsport.
Add more new tracks. Both real world and fantasy.
Change the DLC model to include more tracks.
Fix the dumb track voting system.
There are some things they need to do.
My list could easily be 3 times larger.Time of day options ala GT Sport. Sarthe is one of my favorite tracks and yet there isn't one ray of sun on that track in FM7.
Pit crews have been the biggest omission for me. GT has had it since 4 back on the PS2.
I feel that the way they make games, the specs have been enough since ps3. From Fahrenheit to Detroit, it's the same formula albeit with nicer graphics. As seen in another thread, looks like Quantic Dream is excited about these SSD's in the new gen consoles.

Their best game this far is Heavy Rain, a masterpiece imo.

Wasn't the point... he said they said something that they didn't.Most, if not all devs are excited for the SSDs. When they only have to develop for systems that have them as baselines, development will be easier. A major bottleneck will be removed. Depending on the types of games they're making, it will benefit some devs more than others. I am a bit curious by QD speaking out though because that indicates they're making something quite different than before. The types of games they've made in the past would probably be down the list to benefit.
Yeah, Quantic Dream is a multiplatform dev, and they are excited about the Ultra Fast SSD's that are in the next gen consoles. Not sure what is wrong with that, I think it's great news for gamers around the world. Most, if not all devs are excited for the SSDs. Can you show us where in the article you been claiming that they said this?Yeah, Quantic Dream is a multiplatform dev, and they are excited about the Ultra Fast SSD's that are in the next gen consoles. Not sure what is wrong with that, I think it's great news for gamers around the world.
I didn't think so.Now, the ultra-fast SSD is also great news to me! I think it’s going to be a real leap forward in the quality of future games. The boosted reading speed will allow us to have much higher resolution textures, for example, since we can load them at an unprecedented speed. That means games with much more detail that we’ve had before, even on PC. But let me say it again: it’s going to take a few years to deal with so much more horsepower, and so the change within the games won’t be visible right away in a very significant manner. For the time being, it’s mostly the loading speed that will be drastically reduced.
Anyone know what this is? Fan-made...?
The article is clearly them fanboying over the PS5,heck even saying it outshines the PC.Val read that to say "PS5's SSD does what Xbox don't".
Any other interpretation is because you're a biased fanboy.
